If I could award Lakeland Genesis more than 5 stars, I most definitely would. We bought two Genesis GV70 Sport Prestige last February. The buying experience was amazing and I already wrote a review on that. But this is about my first ever service experience with them. Which to say the least, BLEW ME AWAY.
My GV70 started making a high pitch whine in the 52 - 55 mph range. I had done some research and was concerned this could be the limited slip differential. I made an appointment to have my car checked and got an appointment quickly. And they even promised if I needed to leave my car, they'd provide a loaner car. When I arrived in the service bay, our Advisor, Anthony Devincent, was there waiting for our arrival. Really? He was expecting us and he was right there to meet us. How refreshingly professional and honestly not expected.
Yesterday was my appointment and they asked one of their specialty Service Technicians, by the name of Manny to go for a ride with me. He immediately heard the whine and confirmed it was indeed the differential. What he didn't know was whether the parts were readily available or how long it would take to fix. I joked that maybe I should just trade the car in on a 2024 and they did have a nice young salesman, Haize Fassett and he was a pleasure to speak with and offered some options, but didn't in any way try to pressure me and even suggested I just wait to see what the outcome with my beautiful GV70 would be, before even thinking about buying a new one.
Today, ONE DAY after dropping my car off for what amounts to major surgery, with parts not easily acquired, my Service Advisor, Anthony, called and I just expected an update on if the parts were now ordered and how long it might take to get them. These aren't little or inexpensive parts to have on a shelf, after all. So imagine my complete amazement, when he said they not only had the parts, but my car was out of the shop and ready to be picked up. This was literally 24 hours after dropping my car off for major repairs.
So let me just say:
1. Anthony, you were amazing to work with and you took such good care of us.
2. Manny, you were beyond gracious and interesting to meet and speak with when you took me for a ride in my car to diagnose the issue.
3. Haize, you were the consummate professional and didn't in any way try to pressure me to replace my car.
This experience with Lakeland Genesis just reaffirms we made the right decision to place our trust in when we bought two GV70. Treating customers with the respect and consideration you have now demonstrated in both experiences with the dealership will just have to make us customers for life. Yes, it will.
