Buyer Beware – Hennessy Land Rover Buckhead Hennessy Land Rover Buckhead has proven, twice now, that they cannot be trusted. I made the mistake of giving them a second chance after my Jaguar purchase in 2019 — a car that needed brake work within 30 days despite their so called “inspection.” I should have known better, but I foolishly assumed a luxury dealership would act with integrity. I was wrong. In July 2026, I purchased a used Range Rover from them, and the experience has been nothing short of outrageous. Less than an hour after leaving the lot, the dashboard lit up with brake warnings. Soon after, I discovered the car was pulling to the left, the glovebox buttons didn’t work, the heads up display was unreadable, and two rear speakers were blown. This is not normal wear — this is a dealership knowingly selling a defective vehicle. When I brought the car back, they had the audacity to hand me a $10,000+ repair estimate and suggest I pay half. For a vehicle I had owned for mere days. Only after demanding a manager did they agree to cover the brakes and alignment — but they refused to fix the heads up display or the blown speakers. Their excuse? Those items are only checked on “certified” used cars. Convenient. To make matters worse, the warranty they sold me — which they verbally represented as “covering everything” — turned out to be a bare bones Level 1 drivetrain policy. The fine print reveals the truth, but their sales tactics were clearly designed to mislead. Now I’m stuck with a Range Rover from a supposedly reputable dealership that has major electronic defects and no support from the people who sold it to me. The salesperson who was eager to close the deal vanished the moment problems appeared. The dealership’s behavior is no different from a shady corner lot operation hiding behind a luxury brand and a Buckhead address. The bottom line: Hennessy Land Rover Buckhead is not a dealership you can trust. Their inspections are questionable, their sales tactics are misleading, and their post sale support is nonexistent. If you value your money and your sanity, get your own independent inspection, scrutinize every line of paperwork, and do not assume this dealership will act ethically. My experience has been costly, infuriating, and a clear warning to anyone considering doing business with them.

I visited Carvilla on March 6, 2026 to purchase a 2022 Rivian R1T Adventure Package (Stock #NN007505). The vehicle was advertised online at $46,700. However, when I received the buyer’s worksheet, the dealership added a $999 documentation fee on top of the advertised price. I asked if the fee could be removed or included in the advertised price, but the dealership declined. Under guidance from the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, non-government fees such as dealer documentation fees are supposed to be included in the advertised vehicle price. Only government fees (tax, tag, title) should be added separately. Because of this, I filed a complaint with the **Georgia Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. I even emailed the sales manager, Gustavo E Belzares, giving the dealership the opportunity to resolve the issue and complete the purchase by removing or adjusting the $999 fee, but I never received a response. I was genuinely ready to buy the truck that same day. Unfortunately, the pricing practice and lack of response prevented the deal from moving forward. I hope the dealership becomes more transparent about their advertised pricing so customers know the true cost before visiting.
