I purchased wet okole seat covers from Myles Shirai in Oct, 2020. I completed the wet okole form and paid cash over $600. Myles took pictures of the interior of my car (required by Wet Okole) and toId me it would take approximately 2 months. I did not receive a receipt and did not realize this until 2 months later when I called to inquire about the status of my custom seat covers. Mel Barroza the parts manager told me they did not have record of the purchase in October only the 2 previous Wet okole purchases I made through Kona Mazda. They have told me they made an internal investigation and nothing more they can do for me, a repeat customer. I have been a nurse in this community for the past 30 years and have never been treated so poorly by a Kona Business. When asked to speak to the salesperson Mel had no comment. Why on earth would I make this up. I have now filed a BBB complaint. I was hoping Kona Mazda was going to do the right thing by their customer, sadly no.

Im gonna be fair sales person was attentive till the half way point then she made us wait 40 minutes with no sense of urgency to talk numbers and just because you sugar coat your words and tone, saying "you should fine another car instead' is already poor business etiquette and this is why Hawaii will never amount to the mainland because you have employees like this all around.

My wife and I just came in to ask for a test drive of an outback. We were completely honest about our reasons (that we were moving to the mainland and were going to purchase a vehicle there, but wanted my wife to be comfortable with the feel of the car).
The old geezer sales manager wouldn't answer our questions and condescendingly told us "his people" worked on commission and if we were not buying, we were just wasting their time. We told him we understood that (we had actually brought a Starbucks gift card to give to the guy to thank hi for his time, as we knew he wasn't "making anything" on us), and were willing to wait until they were not busy with a potential sale. He told us that we were still wasting their time and out to be more considerate and leave.
Great job!!!!! It is a good thing you have a monopoly or you'd be out of business.
