I purchased a brand-new 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ from this dealership, and it has been the worst vehicle purchase I’ve ever made.
Since November 2025, the vehicle has had the same high-voltage failure FOUR separate times. The first time, it left my family stranded in Indiana during Thanksgiving in below-zero temperatures while the heat stopped working and the vehicle blew cold air. Most recently, it completely shut down on the side of the road in 90+ degree weather with my young child in the vehicle, requiring the entire high-voltage battery to be replaced.
After months of repairs, weeks without my vehicle, countless service visits, and nearly three months of making payments on a vehicle I couldn’t safely use, Cadillac’s solution is to have me pick it up yet again and “see if it happens again.”
How many times does the same dangerous issue have to happen before someone takes responsibility? Four failures should be more than enough.
This is a six-figure luxury vehicle, and instead of standing behind their product, I’ve been left dealing with the same safety issue over and over again. I expected Cadillac to prioritize customer safety. Instead, I’ve spent months wondering whether my vehicle is going to leave me stranded again.
I cannot recommend this dealership or this vehicle based on my experience.
