I went to Lynwood Honda just for looking at the Honda Civic Hybrid model almost closed to the end of day and never though i'd come back owning one! It was great the way Mark communicated about all the features, price and every bit of information about lynwood honda and why i should go ahead with the deal. I didn't had second thought about buying the car after the first 1/2 hr comunication about feature of the car. The only issue was price (as usual) but again, Mark worked with me throughout to close on a acceptable price for me as well as dealership and now i proudly own a hybrid! All credit goes to Mark Baker!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM M&K AUTO!!! M&K is the worst used car lot I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I traded a very nice Camaro that I had owned for 7 years for a Volvo S80 (I needed the extra room in the back seat). I bought the car on Saturday, and didn't drive it again until I went to work Monday. On Monday I noticed the car shifted hard so I called M&K immediately and was told they were sorry but I didn't have a warranty. I told them that wasn't acceptable and that I was going to have it checked and would call them back. I took it to an authorized Volvo repair shop and was told it would need a new transmission which would cost $4,000. The car is only worth $5,000. I called for Mark the owner several times but he would not return my calls. When he finally did he said there was nothing he coud do. I told him I either wanted a different vehicle, my old car back, or him to repair the transmission, but he refuses to do anything. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM M&K AUTO!!!

Be VERY, VERY CAREFUL when looking at a car at Marty's. Bought a vehicle from Marty's. Oil leaking on the driveway. replaced the oil plug on oil pan (where you change the oil) as oil appeared to be coming from there. Took a lot of torque to get it off and it definitely needed to be replaced. I wondered why they did not do this since they changed the oil as required. Unfortunately, this was not the full problem. The big problem was that the rear seal on the back of the engine needed to be replaced. My gas station did not do this work because the transmission needed to be taken out in order to get to the seal. they recommended a shop in Burnsville where the estimate was $800-$1000. Mechanic at gas station also said that it lookd like there had been a lot of work done and that the engine may have been replaced. Had the seal replaced for $800 by a mechanic that I trust and he confirmed that the engine had been replaced with a junkyard engine (had an orange X on the cover of the rear seal which designates a junkyard engine). The work that was done was not done well as it appeared that a bolt had come loose and bounced around and damaged the rear plate. None of thsi was disclod=sed to me by Marty's. Also, did not notice that the spare tire was missing. When I called them to see if maybe they had taken it off for safe keeping. I was told that "they do not have spare tire floating around". when I said that did not expect them to have spare tires floating around, but did they happen to have the spare tire for this vehicle, I was told they did not. i read the reviews of others who had problems with vehicles after purchase and did not give them the consideration I should have. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM Marty's.

Long story short. Stay away from this dealer. They are the most misleading, deceiving and dishonest dealer I have ever dealt with. And to top it off, they yell at their customers and pretty much call them liars straight to their face. The worst customer service I have ever had!

I would not recommend purchasing from this dealer due to excessive mechanical issues after assurances to the contrary, extreme dishonesty, and no accountability when vehicle was damaged while in transit. So far, over $4000 has been spent in repairs needed for the vehicle. I had been searching for a 94-96 Limited Roadmaster Wagon for about a year. Midwest Auto Collection popped up on my Google search and always seemed to get a nice selection of these cars. All of them were low miles and appeared in great condition. I had inquired on a few and exchanged emails but was holding out for the right one. In April 2017 they got a 96 Limited Roadmaster Estate Wagon with only 35k miles. This was the one for me! My initial question was regarding if any issues were present. The response was that it had recently been inspected by a mechanic and it only needed an A/C charge and one of the windows needed new guides. I asked for a copy of the inspection and the owner, Mahmood, would not produce it. Instead, I was assured the A/C would blow cold and the windows would all work. He praised the condition of the car and assured me it was very nice and how happy I would be. If only that was the case…. After settling on a price very near asking price (since it was assured how outstanding the car was) it was set to be delivered. When it arrived it was damaged while in transit. One of the roof rack cross bars was missing and part of the trim that holds the cross bars and rail was cracked and bent out of shape so severely it needed to be replaced. Upon writing Mahmood about this he wanted to make sure that I took note on these issues because of “how hard it was to get money from shippers.” I most definitely did this and emailed a copy of the inspection report detailing all of this. Prior to shipping the car I wanted to make sure it would be insured and he stated it would be. The estimate to fix the car took the car was close to $900 due to the amount of work, and type, needed to correctly fix this. The car was supposedly insured for transportation. I even called the shipper and they stated they had paid Midwest Auto the bill quote for the car. To this day, I have not received anything to cover the damage to the car. I have paid for parts and labor out of my own pocket. This is shameful dealer behavior to say the least. But, it gets better…. After receiving the car I took it in for a smog check. Moments after driving away the check engine light came on. I thought this was odd as Mahmood assured me already that nothing had come up on the mechanical inspection that was done prior to me purchasing it. Taking it to a ASE certified mechanic at Firestone this quickly was obviously a lie. The AC was on the verge of failing, leaking and needed to have a complete overhaul, the fuel system was not working correctly and needing extensive repairs, the battery was bad, etc….. Total bill to have everything fixed was over $3100 dollars. The response I received from Midwest Auto was that a can of Seafoam would have fixed these things and that Firestone has too high of standards. I am sorry to tell you a can of Seafom will not fix these items and any mechanic looking at my car doing a diagnostic on my car would have caught all of these things. No wonder this dealer would not produce the mechanical inspection he had on the car when I asked for it. I have emailed several times and been promised a follow up and some sort of check for the damage to the car while in transit and something “fair to both of us” for EXTREME MECHANICAL issues but have seen nothing. Empty promises and a car that was sold with known issues not disclosed to me. I would not recommend Midwest Auto Collection to anyone. I had to pay $900 for repairs to car that happened while in transit and was supposedly insured and $3100 for extreme mechanical issues.

I found the price quoted a bit high but reasonable.I bought a used 2003 Cadillac Deville and the car was in near perfect condition. I would go back to this dealer if I needed to trade again.

We purchased a 2003 Lexus GS on July 10, 2006. Our bank check for the full amount of the vehicle was sent by overnight mail on July 10th and received by the dealer the next night. The car was supposed to be shipped as soon as the funds cleared (presumably for a bank check this would happen within 2-3 days). However, the car was not shipped for a week after that. When the car arrived, it was missing the gear shift handle, and the second key. Upon calling Matt, we were informed that the missing items would be shipped overnight within the next few days. However, each week we would call to check and see if the items had been mailed, only to be told by Matt that they would be mailed that day, or that they were in the mail. Finally, on 8/3 we received the WRONG gear shift knob (model 6959 - for a 2002 ES), and no key. Again we started calling Matt once or twice a week. At the end of August we again received another wrong gearshift handle and no key. On September 4th I called and spoke to Matt, telling him that we would have no recourse but to complain to the better business bureau unless the appropriate parts were received within a week. Since then, of course, Matt has not called and we haven't received the key or gearshift knob. Also, during this time period, I have asked several times to speak with Sam, the general manager, but he has never been there, or the front desk will only connect me to Matt. I found a car on Autotrader that had connected me to Millennium Auto Sales. I was sent a price breakdown which included a registration fee of $349. When asked about it, I was told it was a state requirement and I had to pay them to register the vehicle in the state I was bringing the car to. When I travel 1200 miles and showed up, the car was misrepresented, as it had been in a previous accident, and after that was worked through, papers were signed and they were paid, I asked about the registration process, and I was told that was my problem. I explained to the sales manager was told they would not refund the fee, and was intimidated and coerced into leaving. They also promised to provide half of the gas to drive the car back in order to lure me there, then refused. They are falsely advertising cars, fraudulently collecting fees on behalf of government agencies, and their staff are xxxxx. Any positive reviews after this would be from them..

I'm not sure if dealerships can get any worse then this one.<br><br>If you bought a car from this place I suggest you contact a lawyer. The dealership does appear to be out of business (Limo place now).<br><br>Do some Google searches and find a lawyer that deals with car fraud. I suggest going www.ChicagoLemonLaw.com. The website looks a bit cheesy, but he knows his stuff. You should at least give him your story and see what he says.

We purchased a 2013 Audi S6 from motorcar Solutions after finding their listing online. The dealership guys were very responsive and answered many questions, even creating video to show the car's condition very close-up, and posting it to YouTube. We described the trade-in vehicle and agreed to a valuation pending their inspection of the car. For the purchase, we arrived from out-of-state and found the paperwork all ready-to-go and the car exactly as described, if not better. There were no surprises, and no haggling or backsliding on the agreed-upon trade-in value. I've bought a number of cars via the internet, but I never had such a smooth and satisfying experience. There are so many sleazy operations out there. Finding Motorcar Solutions was a very pleasant surprise. I would not hesitate to recommend Dino, Jeremy and Nick to anyone. They are small enough to treat every sale with personal interest, and they have excellent taste in the cars they acquire for sale.

Mr. Greg Ovnanyan at Motor Trend Imports overall seems like a fair seller and is open to negotiation. I purchased a used 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring from him. He offered good advice during the buying process including recommending Consumer Credit Union for a used car loan on which I got a great rate of 1.9% APR. Greg was cooperative when I asked to bring the car in for a multi-point inspection at an authorized Honda dealership. However, a couple of issues left me less than 100% satisfied. Greg said the car was bing sold “as is” and did not address the service warning light for an engine coolant replacement which costs $143 to remedy at Castle Honda. Greg said that he could have done the maintenance at a lower cost, but then, if that’s true, why didn’t he take care of it in the first place? The engine air filter and the interior air filter both needed to be replaced at a total cost of $100, but Greg said the he could have replaced the air filters at a lower cost. If so, why didn’t he before selling the car and include the cost of the maintenance in the price? I realize that the vehicle was used, but not taking care of long-term maintenance items like engine coolant and air filters left me with a negative impression. Positives: open to negotation, patient and does not rush the pre-purchase mechanic inspection, good financing recommendation Negatives: does not address all maintenance warning lights before selling and sells cars truly "as is" Update June 5, 2018: I got an email from Greg saying, "...obviously you got angry and thus the 3 star review." I wrote the review rationally. Trying to make a customer feel bad for giving 3 out of 5 stars leaves a much more negative impression on me. I'll rationally reduce my rating to 1 star from 3 for the offensive remark.

First of all the dealership I bought from is in Elmhurst, IL, at 530 W Grand Ave., Elmhurst IL 60126. I dealt with a salesman named Abe. We had a unique situation as I am over 1100 miles away and the whole transaction was done on the internet, phone, and through texting. Abe was very accommodating. Anything I needed or wanted that was not posted on their website he was quick to respond to such as extra pictures and equipment on the car that was not listed in the sales ad. Abe even drove the car so he could honestly answer my questions about functionality of different things on the car. I found Abe to be honest and shooting straight from the hip which I appreciate, especially in car sales. He provided all the information I wanted about the car, gave me all the info I needed to make payment and complete the sale, and followed thru with my few requests such as a copy of paperwork in the glovebox, e.t.c. Abe also provided additional paperwork required by my state for me to obtain a title long AFTER the sale was complete and the car already sitting in my driveway. He was there to facilitate the transfer of the vehicle to the porter bringing it to Texas and more than a week after me having the car, he texted to make certain I was happy with it. In summation, Abe takes the stereotypical reputation of a car salesman and obliterates it. He was honest, forthright, and 100% accommodating and I have tipp say, there were no disappointments when my car was delivered. Bill Carrington

BUYER BEWARE - THIS DEALER IS A SCAM. I WOULD NOT recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. I purchased a car from them in July 2020. From the time I drove the car off the lot it has had engine problems. There was NO disclosure of these issues at the time of purchase. They sold me a bogus warranty that doesn’t cover anything. I tried to work with these scammers to fix the issue and they have refused, even to the point of blocking my calls. The car is still having those same issues. When I first contacted them, they said they will pay a portion of any repair fees but all they cared about was making money on the deal and not doing what was right for the customer. Needless to say, I never got ANY check from them either.

They will do whatever it takes to get the sale, even if they know you're unsure about your decision with the car. Then it'll have issues and they won't do anything to make sure that the problem is resolved even if it's within days of the purchase. Do yourself a favor and don't go here, that's one thing you surely won't regret.

The quality of cars they have is great, they are very picky about what cars they seem to show, cause its never any old cars. When you go to look at cars its never any pressure from sales people, which I like cause sometimes you just go to look at cars, not necessary buying right then.

After about a month the service suspension light came on. Brought it to my local reputable shop for other services and asked them to scan codes. Left front shock was defective. Numerous calls and emails went ignored. Stand behind your word Pingree! Now I'll have it repaired and my attorney will sue them for the repairs and breach of contract. Do NOT do business with.
