They Damage my car and Refuse to fix it. - Gina
I wish I had read these reviews before taking my car here. Stay far away as possible. Had to take my car here because the person who was at fault had USAA insurance and this is their preferred provider. They fixed the front of my car fine. But also somehow damaged the sides, and broke off my antenna. They tried to tell me it was like that even though looking at the photos you can see it wasn't. Now I have to take my time and go through small claims court. I will continue to warn as many people as I can to stay away from blossom on shadeland.
Had one of our BMWS in twice for issues and service... - ToddKennes
Had one of our BMWS in twice for issues and service advisors insisted that no problems were found. Our son is an employee at the dealership and he figured out the the problem before the “master techs” could. Simply scanning codes on the DME he found the problem. Should have been done the first time around
Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet... - Josh_M
Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet you're probably in the market for a new vehicle. Well, I'm not here to tell you if Gates is the place for your new purchase, but I am quite prepared to say you should never try to get a vehicle serviced at this dealership!
I came to Gate and attempted to have my low-mileage, under-warranty vehicle diagnosed for a knocking sound. After a 2.5 hour wait (was told 1 hour, and watched another customer enter, get service, a loaner, and leave before me) a serviceman approached me and outright refused to diagnose the issue, stating their refusal was due to 'snow on the ground', and that I should come back when it's nicer outside. Seriously! As soon as I left their service center and hit the road at 20mph, the knocking was CLEARLY audible! After calling the service center to set a date and time *they* find appropriate, and not being given one, I requested to speak to the floor manager. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, but said he could not arrange a diagnostic until the following week, which I found unacceptable.
I'm sure their salesman are quite genial and the deals superb, but I would suggest staying away from their service center: they seem selective about who they want to serve and who they do not.
Worst customer service ever - Bigdiesel1
After prepayment for a key when I made the over 1 hour drive was told the title and dealer sales forms and the fact that I drove the car there does not mean I own the car and I could not have my property in which I payed for and own, also they will not refund the money, per Scott.
100k + $350 but no washer fluid top off? - caterpillarsales
I bought my dream car and did the European Delivery. Well done Mercedes Benz. The new E53 AMG Cab is amazingly smooth when you want it to be and still fast enough to warrant the AMG badge.
The Indianapolis Dealership does not deliver the same experience as the vehicles. So the best or nothing I suppose.
-The sales rep was fantastic and stuck with me even after the initial sale! Thank you Eric Batt's!
-The dealership back office never registered my plates so I was driving on expired plates for 3 weeks. Eric helped me through this little mishap.
-Once I notified the dealership they did work hard to process the plates fast but it was painful.
-On 12/23/2019, I just stopped in with 3,252 miles on the car to get the washer fluid topped off(no big deal even Jiffy Lube will do this for you). We were informed that we must pay for the fluid and they would fill it at no charge. I feel horrible for the people that have to deliver this message to the customer like me. So I went directly to the Sales Manager. He confirmed and suggested that I want something for nothing. 'Where does it stop? should I replace your batteries, $3 here $3 there. We can not afford to give everything away..." I was fed up. I told him that "top off fluid should be covered, and batteries should be replaced if the customer purchased the car there and is under warranty and does the maintenance with you." He did not agree, and this is the reason for the post. They have every right to charge to "top off fluids". However, we have every right to make others aware and spend our money at other dealerships.
-In the end the Sales Manager would not fill the car with fluid, however one of the service team members was able to do the right thing, however it was not inline with the company policy. Thank you!
Please note that I confirmed with four other dealerships & Jiffy Lube that they all "top off fluids for free";
1) Tom Wood Nissan - will top off fluids without an appointment
2) Tom Wood Lexus - will top off fluids without an appointment
3) Tom Wood Audi - will top off fluids without an appointment
4) Loeber Motors Mercedes Benz Chicago - will top off fluids without an appointment at no charge
*) Jiffy Lube - Washer Fluid is free anytime / every time! WOW!
Now one year later I called back to see if they have changed their policy. They have not.

Drove 2 hours for service here. Had appointment for loaner car. They did not have any when I arrived. Had to get a ride around town from a driver (great guy), this is what I expect at my local Honda dealer. They did offer a rental car, but common. When service was done, no one told me, i was left waiting in the waiting room. I found out th ecar was done when i happened to look outside, and it was sitting there.
Horrible service - Mario Garner
I recently had some service done to my GL450 and upon picking it up I was told my suspension would be a little shaky but it’d even out sounded weird but after plunking down 2300 I was just happy to have my vehicle back so I didn’t think about it well a couple weeks later my front struts go bad after I call I’m told the technician said something about it but I didn’t pay for a inspection you’d think any dealer would do an inspection after taking 2300 from you but I guess not or at the very least tell me I’m gonna need another couple thousand to fix my front end but I guess not thanks a lot guys. The response is a complete lie I was never made aware of any additional issue nor and additional inspection needed to investigate said issue even asked the service advisor (Raymond) that released my vehicle to me about any additional issues they saw and he found nothing to that effect. The foreman saw fit to fix a totally unrelated oil pan but not make me aware of a suspension issue. Lying on the internet to save face is not the way if an advisor had indeed saw an issue there should have been some sort of note on the invoice if there is a charge for simple human decency I was not made aware of please give me a heads up
