Dear AllStar Volvo Service Team, As a military veteran and a dedicated Volvo owner for many years, I've come to expect a certain caliber of service from the Volvo brand. Having owned four Volvos, my experiences, especially in the DFW area, have always been of the highest standard. Regrettably, my recent interactions with your Baton Rouge location have been deeply unsettling. My initial visit for a sunroof warranty repair was fraught with challenges. After an 8-hour wait, my sunroof issue remained unresolved, and a simple request for an oil change was overlooked. It was only upon my insistence that these matters were hastily addressed. Such a prolonged wait, only to have basic services neglected, is far from the standard I associate with Volvo. The concerns didn't end there. On my subsequent visit on August 11th for an air conditioning issue, my car was not returned until the 23rd. Alarmingly, I discovered the activation of the parking assist and auto start service lights upon collection —issues that were definitively absent when I initially handed over my vehicle. The emergence of these issues, coupled with a glaring lack of communication or any provided repair estimate, suggests not only a rushed job but also the possibility of these problems being introduced during the dealership's handling of my vehicle. In further discussions, the technician cited workload pressures as a potential reason for these oversights and made an unwarranted assumption about my repair preferences. Such assumptions and lack of thoroughness are not reflective of the professionalism I expect. To add insult to injury, my car was returned in a dirtier state than when I left it. While I can understand certain constraints due to staffing, returning a customer's vehicle in a less clean state is simply inexcusable and further underscores a lack of attention to detail. AllStar Volvo Service, it's imperative to understand that the essence of customer service goes beyond mere repairs. It's about respect, communication, and a commitment to excellence. Best auto buying experience we've ever had! We were trading in our 2016 Volvo XC90 for a new one. My wife had her eyes on a 2023 XC90 at Bergeron's, but it had sold already. Billy Thomas showed us a few available 2024's, and they had one she liked even more! Billy was very friendly, knowledgeable, explained everything, found us all available discounts we qualified for, and worked hard to get our trade-in price (sight-unseen) higher. When we brought in our trade-in Volvo, Bill Thomas, the general sales manager (he's Billy's father too), bumped the already-agreed on value by another $500 after he saw it. The finance manager, Joy B., was very patient, friendly and also explained all options. Billy also spent a good deal of time explaining and demonstrating all the newer upgraded digital features of the XC90 to us. At no time did we feel rushed or pressured. Both Bill and Billy have helped take care of a few after-sale questions quickly and easily. We're really glad we bought the 2024 instead of the 2023. And we're really glad we bought it at Bergeron's. It couldn't have been a better experience- at least for car shopping. Thanks to everyone there.

I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that our experience at Holmes European Motors was a great one! My family usually only buys GM Vehicles due to our GM family discount but wanted something different this time. Elliot was our sales person. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Jim Huggins also helped us and was very professional and helpful as well. These two members of your staff made us feel welcomed but did not pressure us to make any decisions. Many times I have had experiences where I have left a car lot and not purchased strictly because I felt very pressured or unimportant! This was not the case with our recent purchase. We plan to have our Volvo S60 for some time but when we do buy again we will come back to Holmes European Motors! We would like to thank Elliot, Jim and all the staff at Holmes!!
