Service department rarely answers the phone...Poor service - UPH

Brought our commercial van in for a warranty repair. The day we left it for them to determine the problem I tried to call to ask them a question. They did not answer the phone after 5 different attempts. Finally I had someone paged and got an answer. I had to call over a week later to find out if the parts they needed were in to schedule the repair. They told me they were (no phone call?) and gave me an appointment 3 working days later. Our employee dropped off the van on his way to the job the morning the work was scheduled. At the end of the day we did not hear back from them. I attempted to call 3 times with no answer. Finally I had to send a guy down there in person. They told him they were too busy to do the work, could we leave it? This is a vehicle we need to perform our work. They don't seem to have any consideration for that. They never even bothered to call to let us know. I will not use this dealership's service department again.

I would like to make it known that shortly after writing a negative review I was contacted by the management at Auto Country. I have to admit I was shocked that I even got a phone call. But it did not end there, I was asked to bring my truck back to the dealer in order to show the staff exactly what the problems were. I did this and to my complete surprise, Dwayne asked if I was able to leave the truck with him for a few days because he was going to remedy the situation. I did just that, and three short days later I recieved a call, informing me that my truck was fixed and I could pick it up any time. I returned to the dealership and found that the staff had sent my truck to a third party repair shop and had all of the problems rectified. They had cut, welded, repaired and replaced sections of the frame, the rear suspension, and repaired the sheet metal in the truck bed... a job that without a doubt cost thousands of dollars. At the time these repairs were completed I was outside of my limited warranty, but when I asked Dwayne what I owed him, he answered "nothing" and simply requested that I make it known that Auto Country was eager to make a customer safe and happy with a vehicle they had sold. I have to say I was amazed, at the quality of service and genuine concern the staff afforded me once they were aware of my problem and dissatissfaction. I will leave you with this, you can be sure that you will receive a quality product and stellar service if you choose to do business with the folks at Auto Country. And if for any reason you are not satisfied you will not believe the lengths these people will go to in order to make you a satisfied customer.
