Absolutely terrible service and rock-bottom poor communication. We have acquired 5 cars from this dealer in the last 6 years. No more. Tyler in the service department is the root cause of all the problems we encountered. He is a one-man, walking customer satisfaction killer. Hyundai sold us a car that experienced engine failure after only four months. The mechanical failure was a connecting rod bearing; a known problem with Hyundai engines about which there have been successful class-action lawsuits against Hyundai. Tyler lied about the warranty and falsely told us it will expire upon completion of this repair. Tyler promised us a low-mileage replacement engine, but it took days to get to the bottom of Tyler's lies about warranty coverage. By the time we solved the problems Tyler's lies caused, the low-mileage engine was no longer available. Now we're stuck with a high-mileage replacement engine. If not for Tyler and his lies, this would have been a simple matter, and we would have been satisfied. Instead, Tyler has robbed this dealer of our business. It's all about choices, Inver Grove Hyundai. Choose Tyler or choose customers. Pick one. There have been years of complaints about Tyler. The fact that he's still there tells me that management wishes to lose customers. I recommend you avoid this dealer. There are lots and lots of car dealers. No one needs a Tyler in their life.
