So I traded in my 2017 Subaru Forester XT and was given $22000 trade allowance. To only see it on their lot for $26991. $4991 markup. I know dealerships have to make a profit, but this is outrageous.
But I gave them another chance. Tried to trade in a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport ES with 23273 miles. Clean trade in is $16550 Average trade in 15725 and Rough trade in $14575 they offered me $12000 max of $13000. My car is far from rough.
They use KBB on their website to value your trade but then talk down about KBB when you bring it up. They hide the bait and switch by having a disclaimer stating that this is an estimate. They bait you in the door only to try and low ball you on your trade.

I was looking for a different vehicle and decided to check
Subaru. My brother has purchased a couple of cars from them and after looking all around I found the forester I purchased. Steve was great to work with and I purchased a new car for the price of used ones I had been looking at.
