This is the ONLY place you need to go to service your Volkswagen and Carl is the man to see!! I’ve visited all of the Volkswagen dealerships around and Armstrong is hands down the BEST to visit and I have so much confidence and trust in Carl after my most recent visit. I had a recall and a kind of major general maintenance done and not only did they complete the work a lot faster than expected, the quality of care they put into the vehicle and making sure I was communicated with was top notch. I was willing to spend whatever they recommended because I knew they were 1) looking out for my safety and well-being of my car and 2) I knew it was going to get done RIGHT! Skip going to unreliable third party shops and just go to Armstrong even for the basic stuff, they take care of you and specifically Carl! He promised to take care of my car and could sense I had major anxiety when it came to servicing my vehicle and he made sure to follow through with his promises. As a woman, I never felt pressured to spend money on additional services that were recommended, I was spoken to like a human being and explained certain things I wasn’t knowledgeable on. Before the service, Carl explained to me what was going to happen to my vehicle, a time estimate and a cost. No surprises at all! Mike was also a great contribution to the experience! He was very friendly and easy to chat with, you could tell he and Carl worked well as a team on a Saturday - they were holding the service fort down. I’m so thrilled with my experience and I can’t say that enough - I’ve finally found a service advisor/manager I can trust and build a rapport with for all the services to come. Thank you, thank you, thank you Carl and Armstrong Volkswagen!!!

I took my 2002 Ram 2500 for diagnosis and repair of what seemed to be a transmission malfunction. Timberline swapped my transmission out for a rebuilt replacement at a cost to me of $3912. As I drove away from the dealership, I discovered the truck performed exactly as before the repair. NO difference whatsoever. They admitted that they did not perform any diagnosis, and did not road test the truck after the transmission replacement to verify that it was performing properly. Rather, they simply replaced the transmission. Timberline refused to reinstall the old transmission, which obviously was in good condition. I then took the truck to Wilsonville Dodge for diagnosis and repair. In less than 30 minutes Wilsonville Dodge identified a defective sensor, and completed the repair in less than four hours from the time I delivered the truck for diagnosis. The cost was $365 for repair and diagnosis. Timberline refused to offer any corrective action, and now refuses to return my calls. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General office, and I intend to file a small claims suit against Timberline Dodge.? I recommend to anyone who might consider doing business with Timberline Dodge; Do Not Do Business With Timberline Dodge.

**BUYER BEWARE OF AUTO LINK!!** We had an accepted offer on one at a local dealership, AUTOLINK. They are located in Gresham on Stark, South of Fairview. We put a deposit down with no expiration date. Both parties mutually agreed to come up with funds within a reasonable amount of time. While they were waiting for our funds to transfer they decided to sell it to someone else without even asking or telling us!! Actually the car salesman sent a Text message to my partners’ cell phone saying "DO NOT GET THE LOAN." Mind you this is a very small loan which Autolink was aware that we didn't need in order to purchase the car. We simply just preferred to take out this loan to keep extra in savings. Do not work with the salesman named Brad!! Please. You will save yourself a large headache! I have never met a man who could lie as well as he did. He should have said "I don’t know, let me speak to my boss." But he seemed to have a good and false answer for everything! The owner of the dealership seems to be dishonest, even though we didn't work with him personally. We could hear him talking very negatively about us in his "office." We should have known the first day when he walked by us and made a very rude comment regarding us like we weren’t even there. This dealership, Autolink, or Brad will tell you they have the carfax report on all of their vehicles to suck you into the office but they don't run any on their vehicles. He either doesn't know what he is doing at all or will tell you anything you want to hear just so he can get you to put a deposit down. Promises, contracts, and deposits were made. We were getting a very small loan for the car. They offered us a loan with 31% APR. After confronting Autolink (in Gresham) they used the excuse that since they offered us this (absolutely ridiculous) loan and we opted to go to USBANK (where we bank) that someone else could to buy the car. Again, never once was ever stated in any conversation or contract. This is kind of where morals and wanting to do everything you can earn business. They (well... their nice salesperson) have agreed to find us the exact other car for the same price we agreed to. I am not certain at all that they will even call us after this, even though they have agreed to make this up to us. We were very nice to them under the circumstances but felt it was important for other consumers to beware before considering a vehicle from this dealership. FYI: Autolink also calls people in the newspaper and on craigslist asking to sell your car for you. They also sell cars that are Repos. So beware their prices are MUCH higher here! I found out afterward that the car I was going to buy was a repo. Brad told us the owner of the car and his wife were very nice people and they have to sell their car due to financial problems. ANOTHER LIE! (They had the file with the owner’s number on the desk and I called it after they told us they were backing out of our contract. It was the bank that repossessed the car’s phone number...) without this information in the beginning means that the manufactures warranty is void. We would not have known this until I made that phone call. Since the car was never serviced or had an oil change at the dealership. Lies all around... Honesty, values, and morals are important to us. Unfortunately we saw very little of that. To sum this up.... Please do your own research and take a moment to think before you look to purchase a car from this dealership, (Autolink in Gresham)! I don't want anyone to go through what we had to this week!!! It was a horrible experience. I will update you on if they actually call about finding another car to sell us under the terms both parties had previously agreed to.

Worst Service Ever - Russell

After Infiniti returning the part they ordered, they Reordered it to fix my (brand new 2015) mirror and having to drive up from the beach and make arrangements with loaner - I picked the car up and it was NOT fixed. HOw can you miss a missing part on the rear view mirror when that is what it went in for??? I have left messages and they said they would come to me......I told them where and haven't heard a word. its been a day. This is not the customer service I would expect and next time I buy a $$80,000 plus car I will find someone that values me as a customer. I would NOT recommend this dealership.

Excellent, efficient and friendly experience turning in our - Lease returner

We loved driving the Leaf but have decided to downsize to one car. Jonathan was new to leasing when we got the car. Today he completed the process when we returned the car. Jonathan was pleasant and got the paperwork done in record time. If we decide one car is not enough we will come back to Carr Nissan and hope then to work with Jonathan again. He defies all the bad stereotypes of car salesmen. Thank you for making this somewhat sad occasion pleasant.

We tried for Portland BMW for a simple service for the first time. It was the worst service experience we ever had. After dropping off the car for a routine service, I struggled and had to call several times, talked to 4 people and finally was able to pick up my car. All, as it turns out, because the service contact, Nick T., had taken the afternoon off. Absolutely frustrating! We will go back to driving further and using Beaverton's Kuni BMW. To add to the frustration, I keep getting texts from their automated SMS asking about the experience while ignoring the responses. If their sham of a feedback request is not working, I hope at least this review helps potential future customers stay away from this establishment and avoid the frustration we experienced.

Great service department. Doug Green, the service writer did an excellent job on getting my truck repaired in a thoughal and timely manner. And they are reasonably priced compared to other shops. I highly recommend them.
