Promised in day, it took weeks to fix a lift gate on my - Phil Wenger
Promised in day, it took weeks to fix a lift gate on my 21 Subaru Touring XLT. No communication. Finally to a wrong phone number after correcting it twice, I got notice the motor was in. Then after driving and dropping the car, we find it needs a 2nd motor, waiting another 48 hours.
We take the car home and the close button goes into the frame, improperly installed. I fixed it myself.
Folks at York say, “no compensation for warranty work, why should we give a xxxx.”
We are switching dealerships. Love the car, HATE the service department at Ciacoca.
Even worse, sales folks said loner for life. New ownership won’t honor contract. Service says NO LOANER. EVER. Driving to and from the dealership is just salt in the wound. Go to Lancaster. Their folks care and serve customers.
