Their description of a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Wagon was "NO ISSUES" *********************************************************************** I would understand that to mean that the main parts of the car were working. Boy, was I wrong ! This was a GROSS MISREPRESENTATION or Lie if you prefer. Pieces of the rusty frame actually fell off when the car was put on a lift. Yes ! That's right, they sold me a car that had very badly rusted rear subframe members, so rusty that pieces of the frame crumbled off like crackers ! The heater and defroster did not work. The car had totally bald tires, no spare and no jack. Should I have driven it back from PA to NC across Wilkes Barre mountain in a snowstorm ? Probably not. But by the Grace of God I made it to Maryland where the starter failed and I had to spend the night in a motel. $250 later and back on the road. So far I've spent around $5,000 on this car including completely overhauled new brake system, including calipers and drums, not just pads, shoes. Some of the brake components actually fell apart when being serviced. Transmission leaking and throwing hot ATF on the exhaust. Trans had to be removed and repaired. Blower fan inoperative, had to be replaced. AC Compressor is inoperative, requires around $1,200 overhaul. There is extensive rust on the car body, tailgate, door jambs, completely rusted through inner fenders. The original dual exhaust system had been badly repaired previously and was crumbly and rusty. $800 The administrative assistant was very nice and tried to be helpful but unaware of the "junk-yard" quality of this particular vehicle. She was told to pressure me to "give them positive feedback" on the premises before I had even begun to discover the defects of this car. They made several empty promises on the phone which were never kept. This is a wholesale operation that sells cars picked up super-cheap from dealers, cars that no reputable auto dealer would attempt to retail. LIVE AND LEARN. rayvictor2003@yahoo.com

Demonstrated Integrity Leopardi had a car I wanted, but the rear window defroster did not work. Dave said “I know what is wrong and we will get the part & fix it for you.” Ok, I bought the car and they called 3 days later to install the bad part. That part did not fix the problem. The problem was more difficult than they had thought. They held on to the car until it was fixed. It wasn’t an easy problem to solve, and it took them 3 weeks, but they got the rear window defroster to operate correctly. I am happy with Leopardi.

Bought a mazda from them in April 2019. Paid cash. I had test drove it and asked all the questions. The owners daughter loved it so much she was driving it. Come to find out the transmission is trash four months later My mechanic says there is no way FOUR months of local driving did all the damage. Wasn't even the first issue I had with, but everything else was minimal and wrote it off. In short these people are liars and scammers. Do not buy from them.

Defunct dealer!!! Never turned in the paperwork to Penndot. I bought the car in March and still have no title or registration and it needs to be inspected by November. Also, I was sold the car with issues; when I went to have them taken care of I found out the warranty was only a limited warranty so I had to pay out of pocket for all the problems it had. Now, there are even more issues and these guys packed up and left the area. So now, I have to wait for the state to figure out what's going on before I can do anything and in the meantime, hope to God that my car doesnt break down somewhere. Real nice, let me tell you. If you ever see these lunatics, run the other way!!

Do not buy here, they are not trustworthy. I bought a car there "with" a warranty, when the car had issues (within a month of purchase) I went to make a claim and it turned out that the dealership never actually paid for the warranty. So in essence I paid for a slip of paper, they pocketed the money. When I confronted the salesman on this issue they admitted to the warranty fraud, but were unwilling to actually fix the issue on the car, or refund the purchase price. I soon realized that apart from taking litigation the issue would not be resolved, I had to dump the car at an auto auction. Prices look good on line, but you get what you pay for, worst car buying decision I have ever made, I will never go back, and strongly urge you to not go as well.

We've bought two cars from Freds over past 5 years and one from an awful used car dealership in Norristown. Experience at Fred's was professional, low-stress, and low-pressure. For the size lot, they also usually have a great selection of late model, used cars. Prices were very reasonable and we left feeling we also got a fair deal on our trade in. We are planning on searching for another used car in the next few months and will definitely be stopping at Fred's first.
