Had a 9:00 AM service appointment for inspection, - chasriz
Had a 9:00 AM service appointment for inspection, emissions test and issue with fin antenna. As I was traveling 45 minutes, I booked well in advanced for the first service appointment of the day, knowing I would waiting at dealership. After all, how long can a state inspection and emissions test take? After few conversations with service manager and 2 1/2 hours later my 2021 CX5 is ready. Explanation I received for LONG DELAY was Ray Price Mazda does not do emissions test. They rely on the other on site Ray Price dealerships for emissions test. Mazda had to wait for other dealerships to “fit them in” for the emissions test. You would think since this was booked well in advance and it would be coordinated.
Two weeks later on I called on a Wednesday to confirm my appointment for fin antenna replace. Told antenna is in and we are good for Saturday 10AM. I arrived ten minutes early because it’s the right thing to do and not keep people waiting. Well an hour and half later I’m told the antenna can’t be found. Naturally I’m upset. But not sure if it’s because the part is lost or it was over an hour before they looked at my vehicle. Why have appointment times if they mean nothing to service department.
The most ironic part is after purchasing CX5 for over $31,000, Ray Price asked to have my picture taken next to my new CX5. But neither time as I was leaving Ray Price Service Department did they ask to take my picture. But neither time as I was leaving Ray Price Service Department did they ask to take my picture.
