Today was the first time I had visited Subaru of Gallatin for service on my Subaru Forester. I was extremely pleased with the service. The service manager, Jimmy, was very thorough in explaining what the service involved. The waiting area was very comfortable, and I was very pleased as well with the wait time. I will definitely return to Subaru of Gallatin for future service.

Rob was super competent, efficient and friendly. He expedited the process of resolving a complicated issue that the dealership in Dayton had misdiagnosed and was trying to charge me more than $700 for work that would not have solved the problem! (My car has only 13,000 miles on it and is still under warranty). My gratitude to Rob and your service dept. I would also like to give credit to one of your salesmen, Bob Woods, who has hung in with me on this for several months. Now this is what makes Subaru’s reputation so stellar!

We have purchased three vehicles from Jim Keras Subaru. They introduced us to the uncompromising excellence of the Subaru brand. They sold us safe, beautiful automobiles, and the buying process was very enjoyable in each case. The salespersons and the sales managers with whom we dealt were knowledgeble and accommodating to our needs. Buying our cars involved no pressure, no drama, and no stress. There were no contrived pauses and absurd back and forth visits between the salesperson and the manager. We are an older couple, and we left the lot three times feeling that we had made a good deal for the money to which we committed. We were initially surprised that Subaru was not widely bought in our geographical area where other brands that are household names are sold by the thousands. That's fine with us because we had thoroughly researched our cars with Consumer Report and other credible sources that rated every model as #1 in its class. And, we were able to obtain a full complement of comfort and safety features at a very reasonable price. Prior to our first purchase, we didn't even know that Subaru drivers are known to be intelligent and discerning. Who wouldn't respond positively to that? The service department is quick and efficient, and they comply nicely by performing according to appointment times.

I had a horrible experience with the service department today. I dropped off my car last night for A 7 a.m. appointment. When I tried calling to see if the car was ready my first call got disconnected the second time I was told I would get a call back shortly. I'm still waiting on that call to come. I got dropped off at the service department in time to head to work. My car wasn't ready, I was told that their were no keys in the drop box this morning 2 people had checked it. Nothing like being called a liar. Marvin and I went out and checked the box and their was my key. No apology from Marvin about the mistake. No GM to talk to he was in meetings all day, that was understandable. Went to Derek Martin, who sold me the car and told him what was happening with the car, he helped calm me down and I got an apology for the service department from him. The service department needs a major overhaul and education on how to treat customers with respect and empathy.

I have been inquiring for 8 weeks about the refund of my pro rated gap insurance that was sent to this dealership. When speaking with accounting I have been given different dates and excuses of delay each time. Most recent conversation, stated mailed 12/18, “ postal delay due to holidays” as of 12/30/20 still not received. Wallace it does not take this long mailed from Bristol TN to Bristol TN address.

I have been very pleased with the purchase of my 2019 Outback. I had a very bad problem with service in March. They did an update on my onboard Camera screen/Bluetooth navigation/radio unit and it no longer plays the Mp3 disc that I use to listen to books on my long road trips .... AND even more of the Bluetooth phone features didn't work. When the service rep called the service tech, I could hear through the phone him say 'Tell the lady to get a new phone!' All I wanted was the same features that worked when I bought the car 9 months earlier to work again. The car was a Certified used with only 4800 miles on it. When speaking with service manager, I was yelled at and he walked out of the room. Talked to the General Manager and he helped to get in contact with Subaru USA. A new update will have to be created and installed to correct the missing features of my unit. Not happy but they offered $100 of refund of Audibles to help bridge the time gap.
A month later, I want body side moldings and an oil change. Sent an e-mail to general manager listing the problem and that I needed reassurance that the service will be much different that the previous one. CRICKETS!! No response to my email.

"David" (AKA "Dave Reynolds" according to other reviews) in the service department was terrible to work with. My family and coworkers who have used this business have been given loaners in the past when their vehicles were serviced. I made my appointment online weeks in advance and even selected "drop off" for my vehicle. I get there at 8:00 in the morning, drop off my vehicle, and "David" appeared inconvenienced when I asked if I needed to call a ride to take me to work 10 minutes away. I am a nurse who tests for COVID daily and luckily the shuttle driver was able to give me a ride to work. When I came back that evening to pick up my vehicle, "David" refused to let me use the coupon I had been sent by this dealership. When I listened back to the voicemail "David" had left, he notified me that he would be leaving promptly at 5:00 and that I could pick my vehicle up the next day if it was going to be after that. If I could give "David" zero stars, I WOULD! I also had my tires rotated and the pressure light has been on since.

I visited Pro Auto to get my car detailed. The owner Kirk greeted me and was very professional and knowledgable of the questions and concerns i had about my car. I was sold in seconds on the service. They got me in and did a wonderful job. The employees had a high skill level and completed my car to exceed my expectaions. I know they do alot of business, but i felt like i was a top customer. They also started a car sales lot. Looks like these guys are growing and doing well. No wonder. Great experience. They have my business and i have never heard any thing negative here in town.
