After having owned my vehicle for less than two months there was a major malfunction of the brake system which the Warranty refused to cover and which the dealer refused to acknowledge or accept any responsibility for. The long and the short of it is that after spending $19,000 on a "certified" vehicle I had to fork out another $1,250 in repairs after only six weeks and 1500 miles. The shop owner/manager's attitude the entire time was one of deflection and disavowal of any wrongdoing. The original purchase process was not much better as they were unwavering on the listed sale price even though I was essentially paying cash. Agreed upon items to be taken care of at time of purchase were not properly addressed, including "floor mats" in which the dealer obviously provided the cheapest aftermarket mats they could get their hands on. The only "positive" is that after all of this they cut me a check for $65 so I could go have a second key made at my local dealer.

In my opinion, there is NOTHING at all professional about this place. I purchased a car in June 2018, a service light was on and was told by the dealer "no prob we will have it fixed take it to our shop". I signed the paperwork, did that and over 30 days later still didn't have the car. then they refused to pay for the repair. Got the finance company to speak to them the deal got canceled and they still have my down payment. It's now the end of September!! I was told someone would be in touch and never heard from anyone, no returned calls nothing. I called every day and left a message! I called once to at least try to get an email address of the person that was supposed to contact me (MJ) and expressed my frustration to the person that answered I was literally told: " I don't work here they just asked me to answer the phone". I've even contacted a lawyer and sent a demand letter. This is insane. I have no car but they have my money. Joe was the finance guy that told us stories of crooked people that use to work there. Seems as if they are still there. This has put my family in a horrible position without this car or my money. I purchased a used 2024 Ford Transit from Insider Auto #2 in December, paying over $31k, specifically because I wanted the peace of mind of buying from a dealership instead of a private seller. Unfortunately, that peace of mind was not delivered. Because the vehicle was purchased in Virginia, I was later told that Insider Auto #2 could not handle the Maryland inspection, and that I would need to take care of it myself. When I attempted the Maryland state inspection, the van failed due to a Check Engine light, with multiple diagnostic codes, on a vehicle with less than 30 days since purchase. When I escalated the issue and spoke directly with Guillermo (manager), the response was essentially that “these things happen” and that I would have to deal with it on my own. This is not what most buyers expect when purchasing a vehicle from a licensed dealer—especially a work vehicle like a Ford Transit. Yes, it’s a used vehicle, but buying from a dealer should come with accountability and post-sale support, particularly when problems appear immediately after purchase and prevent inspection and registration. I’m leaving this review to be transparent with future buyers: If you’re considering Insider Auto #2 and any of its affiliates, make sure you clearly understand what support (if any) you’ll receive after the sale, especially if you are registering the vehicle out of state. Be aware and do your due diligence.

I then went directly to the dealers website and inquire and in addition submitted a financing application. It’s been several days since my credit application submission and still have not received a response. I’ve called the dealers office Line twice and no answer not even a way to leave a voice mail.

I recently visited the store to purchase a new car. I was working with a young sales person and everything was going okay until Clint the GM tried to get involved. He tried to explain that the dealer pricing was handled by Mr. Leckner himself and he agreed it was a bait and switch style price scheme just to get people in the door. He said the $999 processing fee was also just a way to get the owner paid and if he owned the store he wouldn’t charge more than $99 or no processing fee. Clint was nice but how can I trust a company who’s own GM doesn’t believe in the owners or company mission. Sounds like Mr. Leckner might want to change the company mission or hire managers that agree with his agenda. Either way I’m not buying from a company who’s own store manager doesn’t believe in their services or products worth.

We purchased 2011 Honda Civic for our son today. We had been to 5 or 6 dealerships and we were pushed from one car to another none to our liking. John our Salesman and Manager was great to work with. We test drove at least 5 cars out of 20 plus that were in our price range and makes. They had a larger inventory and better prices of used cars than any of the big dealerships in Roanoke. Would I recommend them Yes without reservation.

Bait and switch 2011 E250 Cargo Van $12000. The pictures online is NOT the van they sell you in person. They have the van online but its over $18000. Bait and Switch. I had numerous convos and texts with salesperson Sam and Finance person Matt. Both lied for hours to get me in. I showed up and my first interaction with a salesperson said my salesperson wasn't there despite me making sure he would be and verified through text 5 mins prior. I provided my SS# and applied online and called to verify with Matt to make sure everything was on the up-n-up. i was placed in front of Finance person Jennifer - very nice - she ran my credit and I was approved; however, that is where I found out the van and price i came to purchase changed.

I found I had a leaking tire on a recent trip to Virginia and was leaving to come back to Pittsburgh on Monday. I contacted Greg and met him at the dealership Monday morning. I purchased a new car from Nelson Kia on July 29th. I had been to the dealership about a week prior just to look and see what type of car I may be interested in. I was met by a wonderful salesman, Michael Roberts, that was not at all pushy and was so honest and helpful. I drove several cars and was still on the fence about which car I was going to go with. After I left that day, I knew that when I purchased a car, it was going to be from Nelson. I have bought many cars over the years, but this experience was by far the best I have ever had, I hope to have my new car for years but when I am ready to trade it in, it will be at Nelson Kia. Disclaimer: I am not typically a vengeful or spiteful person, but Nova Autbrokers couldn't have been a worse experience. I flew to Nova Autobrokers from KS after placing a deposit on a car. I only placed a deposit down after the salesmen told me that they had a lot of attention regarding that specific car and I would need to put down a deposit to have any chance at buying it. So when I arrived at the dealership a few days later I was appalled at the "mint" condition of the car. I had been repeatedly told by the salesmen that the car was in "mint" condition. There were dozens of paint blemishes that did not show up in the pictures and were not described to me. Also, the clutch didn’t engage smoothly (also not mentioned).They wouldn't budge on the price nor refund my deposit even though I calmly explained to them that I felt as though they had lied to me. I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to no avail. The BBB tried contacting them 3 times and they never responded. This is the shadiest "dealership" ever. Learn from my expensive lesson and DO NOT BUY from here.
