I visited AGM Auto Sales on August 16, 2025, to purchase - clonghi25
I visited AGM Auto Sales on August 16, 2025, to purchase a vehicle. At that time, both parties agreed to a trade-in value of $4,500 for my vehicle, leaving a remaining balance of $3,100 to be financed. This agreement was made with the sales manager.
On Monday, August 18, 2025, I was informed that the Purchase & Sale agreement needed to be updated because the trade-in had not been listed. On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m. EST, the dealership contacted me and requested a monetary commitment before providing the proper documentation required by the bank.
As of August 20, 2025, the bank was still missing the following documentation from the dealership:
Title copy without floorplan watermark (title was being held in floorplan).
Buyer’s signature missing on assignment from Herb Chambers to AGM Auto Sales due to floorplan.
Verification of how the title was being handled (GSCU, dealer, or runner).
Updated Purchase & Sale agreement with the correct lienholder name, “Granite State CU,” depending on whether the dealer or a runner was handling the title.
Despite repeated requests from the bank (four or more times), the dealership did not provide the correct documentation. Instead, I was asked by the general manager, Fernando Lins, to provide money via Zelle before paperwork was completed or corrected.
This experience was highly unprofessional and raised significant concerns about the dealership’s practices. I am filing this complaint to document the situation and to caution others to carefully review agreements and documentation when dealing with this company.
