pleasant... because of distance they brought car to meeting place. Dissapointed in the G80 expected a softer ride, sound system not great, car was dirty so you dont get that wow factor. This one was 0 miles and was advertised for sale. But when we met, they said it just went on loaner list. Ext and Int, was what I was looking for. Price was also high at roughly 60k. The online build priced at 51k. I was also told that if I oedered it might not be delivered till max Sept/oct. My response was that would be pushing to 2024. Might as well wait for 2024 unless some great deal on G80 now. Looking for the blue or black w the dark tan interior.

Recently visited dealer to look at cars we were interested in buying.When we arrived didn't notice many cars on lot, we were told cars were at another location. We were told direction to lot cars were on and told take pictures of decals on cars and bring them back so could look them up . Maybe iam wrong but that seen like the job of the sales person. Someone should have gone with me unable to even get inside car.U gave zero effort u get zero points

I am very disappointed w/ Genesis of Towson (G of T). I’ve been searching online for weeks for one of the highest demand vehicles and finally found one available. It was at G of T and when I called they told me it was available. I wanted to come next day but they said they couldn’t g’tee it wouldn’t be sold and they are open until 9pm, implying I needed to get in as fast as possible (I live 90 minutes away). So, my wife and I rescheduled our day so we could go immediately. I informed G of T of this, said I would be there in 2 hours max, and requested they ensure the vehicle would be available to purchase. They said they “had the key”. I was 20 minutes from the dealership when they called to tell me someone just walked in and is looking at the vehicle to possibly purchase and they would have priority over me. I know this is an unprecedented seller’s market but this was your opportunity to help lose the reputation that many people have of dealerships are “shady” actors. Considering dealerships have practically zero risk of moving almost the entirety of their inventory quickly, not to mention this vehicle which is in such high demand, there was absolutely no reason to NOT give me the courtesy of informing that other person that a customer is on the way in and has priority. Adding “market adjustments” (a subtle phrase for price gouging) and not giving that courtesy to me only serves to promote more disdain and “shady” characterizations for car dealerships.

Sale of second hand Genesis went well. However, service became quite a pain, to the point of having to cease dealing with dealership. I live over 2 and 1/2 hours away. Made appointment for spark plug replacement, which requires intake manifold to be removed. Drove to dealership for service, was told service can not be completed..... NO PARTS! Called a Hyundai dealer close to home, was told to come in. This call made right in front of service department. Have not been beck. This was over four years ago.
