The Mini Dealership has moved to a new address and while - SV
The Mini Dealership has moved to a new address and while the outside lot is bigger, the inside office is much smaller than the previous one. In the past for “waiting” customers, I could sit at a desk in the back to do my work. This time, I was asked to move to a round table with no outlet available in the middle of the office (no privacy) because “sales” persons were using the desk and corporate was going to visit”. We ended up 2 persons with their computers facing each other at a small table. Never mind, there were still 3 desks available. The customer experience has diminished in my view in this new location – Mini Dealership office needs to think that if it takes a long time to get service, then they need to make accommodations available for their professional customers to wait there. Also why ask the customer to come in at 7:45AM and no diagnostic done more than 3-hours later. I came in early so I could be seen early and on my way back to work quickly and left 5hours later with only an oil change and 4 new tires replaced and aligned. My service representative was nice and apologetic and I absolutely do not blame him but service timing and customer accommodations should be part of this dealership metrics.
