Blindsided and completely duped by Winn Kia of Fremont. I was told the LoJack was pre-installed and could not be removed, so I had no choice but to pay for it. I’ve since learned that was false—it could have been easily removed. I’m now out $1,800 because of their misleading information. My car also has a matte finish, and no one explained how fragile and high-maintenance it is. Scratches can’t be buffed out, washes must be touchless or hand wash only, and they still won’t remove things like sap or debris. I’m left with a delicate car that cannot be properly cleaned unless I go to a specialty shop. I let the manager know about my experience, and while he has offered to talk, I don’t trust them and want everything in writing. So far, they have provided no resolution. I deeply regret buying from them and feel completely taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor—drive farther to another Kia dealership. Stay far away. This crosses the line from pushy car sales into outright misleading and deceptive sales practices.

I bought a used car from B.S. (Sales Consultant) for >$10,000 and accepted the high loan interest they provided. Car died on the freeway on the same day while I driving back from the dealer. It was very dangerous because the car suddenly died on the freeway, and my pregnant wife was also in the car. I barely managed to pull it over and called AAA for help. The car was towed to an auto repair recommended by AAA. They found that the alternator was dead, and the battery was newly replaced so that the problem of alternator could not be found immediately while I test drived the car (a new battery could sustain for a while even with a bad alternator). The dealer also covered the fact from me that the bumper of the car had been replaced, for reasons unknown. I had to replace the alternator for over $1,000. We went to the dealer for an explanation on Saturday. B.S. and R.S. ( Sales Manager) promised to contact their mechanics and get back to us on Monday. But they did not. When I called R.S. several times on Tuesday, he said he would definitely reply me on Wednesday. But he did not come back at all (nor did he reply my call) within the whole week. All the above are pure facts. You can make your own judgement now.

My wife daughter and I drove 2+ hours to purchase a car for my daughter. We test drove and decided on the car. We filled out financing paperwork as I co-signed for my daughter. After 45 minutes I inquired about the status. Micheal Whang the general manager said they were still waiting on the bank. This went on and on. After over 4 hours we ended up purchasing it with a cashiers check. Micheal offered us a free car wash or oil change to make up for our wasted time. No thanks for your “generous” offer Micheal! Don’t waste your time here. They have no belief in customer service. Go to the Dublin or Burlingame Kia dealerships. They both have much higher review ratings. Now I know why!!!
