The salesman was nice and I’ve met some nice people in the service department. However, as far as service and promises I’ve not had a good experience up to this point.I’ve never received the call from Emily I was told I’d get 10 days after my new car purchase (now a month out) to help walk me through operation of my new vehicle.
I was told I’d always get a loaner when my car was there for service. I left my new car there after purchase for protective coating. I had my trade in for a loaner just overnight and was called the very next morning to return it as they had sold it already. They did not have another loaner. The Protective coating had not been done on my new car yet and I expressed I did not want to take my new car off the lot until it had been completed. My salesman called that they had decided to send my new car off sight for the protective coating without my approval as Crystal was not there to do the job. The protective coating had many flaws when I picked it up. They wanted to return it to the off site place that applied the coating. In view of the poor workmanship I refused and requested Crystal do the repairs/critiquing as she was now back at work. They agreed but when I took it back to Subaru they insisted it had to be done by the providing place. Again I expressed I had been promised Crystal would do the job. I don’t really know for sure who did it, but I bought the protective package from Subaru and feel they need to guarantee it and stand behind it. I also paid for more protective costing than I actually received.
While picking up my new car after supposed critiquing of the protective coating, I expressed I needed help understanding the operation of some features of my new car. They set me up with my salesman. I told him I had still not received the promised call from Emily. He walked me through what he could and left a message for Emily to contact me to set up a tutorial appointment. That was a week ago yesterday. I’ve still not heard from Emily. I messaged my salesman yesterday asking him to return my call. I’ve not heard back from him.
I experienced such kindness and service promises when I was considering buying my car from Subaru of Bend and now am so very saddened by the lack of contact and service as promised that I’ve experienced after my purchase.
It has truly taken the joy out of the ownership of this new vehicle . I truly wish i my trade in back.
Frustrated and very disappointed..
