It was a frustrating process to be honest. Nothing against Josh as he seemed new or newer to the role and the GM that assisted was great, my frustration came from the amount of time I spent th Nothing against Josh as he seemed new or newer to the role and the GM that assisted was great, my frustration came from the amount of time I spent there. Meaning I spent extra time there when I already had made a promise to my son that I would be home to play with him, which I didn't get to do, I only got to spend 20 minutes with him until I had to get ready for work because of continual pauses, which I explicitly stated before I came in that I was on a time crunch and needed to be out before. 9:45/10. Also, the seemingly lack of a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Extra time was spent in terms of the paperwork. Where Josh needed assistance and had to step away several times. Also, I was very frustrated when it came to the numbers. The first document I signed said I was going to pay $385 and some change, and I was okay with that. The the next document I was going to sign showed a payment of $387 and some change. I asked josh and he pulled up the deal on the tablet and it showed the $385 and not the $387. So he went back and talked about it with the sales manager, I presume. When he came back, he was told that because it's a 2023 tag and not a 2022 tag for registration, it caused the increase. Which he did mention it as the license fee, he pulled up the deal on the tablet and it showed and estimated $150 license fee but the vehicle cost breakdown showed a $110 license fee. Therefore, I was going to be swindled out of money, which this is the first time this has ever happened at a dealership for me. After I pointed that out, he brought back the contract showing the $385 payment. Don't make me pay more than what I'm supposed to, y'all are professionals, don't play with people's hard earned money. As for the vehicle inspection, it was done poorly simply put. The center consol was entirely loose to where I can move it side to side and lift it by about 1/2 of an inch. The jeep symbol on the hood was coming off, the tailgate is misaligned pretty bad, as well as the left front turn signal assembly as it protudes out. The GM did help with these matters as he put all that on the We Owe document for repair when I bring it in. Update as of 7/3: I have been trying for the past five days to set up an appointment to bring my 2017 Jeep Cherokee in and to get a rental to complete the "We Owe" listed items, but I have not received any response since 6/28. I have been ghosted and not a good look for them with a binding contract! More
