I purchased a 2023 Corvette Stingray 3LT with Lamborghini doors. I traded in my 2024 Genesis G80 3.5T Sport Prestige with 15,400 mile for this Corvette that had 10,065 miles. I got to the dealership an hour doors. I traded in my 2024 Genesis G80 3.5T Sport Prestige with 15,400 mile for this Corvette that had 10,065 miles. I got to the dealership an hour before closing to complete the deal, so early evening. I have slight night blindness and realized I had forgotten my prescript glass at home, 2+ hrs south, so I was in a hurry to get home before it got too late hence why I could not take it out for a test drive. Regardless, a test drive would not have shown me the door damage because sales guy opened and closed door for me pretending to be a gentleman. Mechanically, the car is sound so far. They sent me videos per my request on the convertible top and doors opening and closing to show "no damage" and working properly. Now that I look back at the videos, it shows the salesman guiding he doors and holding them so not to show they were damaged. At the dealership, same man opened and closed the door, pretending to be a gentleman so I would not notice they were damaged. This type of business practice is disgusting. I run businesses and would not be nor accept my employees being dishonest to our customers. If there were issues with a product we were selling, we'd fix it or make it right but if we knew of it, would disclose to the client so they could make an informed decision but you DO NOT hide truths and take a clients money knowing you were dishonest in the sale of the product. You basically sold me a vehicle, used or not, with no issues, no damages known and that was a lie and there is no way you could say you did not know. These doors are so misaligned and warped . You can clearly see that they guided them open and closed, especially after watching mine not more than 12 hrs later after the vehicle sat in my garage. Further review once the car was gone through more in the daylight. The side rocker panels are broken and loose, missing brackets. This sale was just a nightmare. So not more than 16 hrs after signing paperwork, I'm extremely concerned what else they hid. I decided to ask if they would be willing to take the car back and reverse the deal, especially if they are "so sorry about this issue and want me to be happy" and since they are such a caring dealership and am met with the always fantastic used car dealership answer, "you signed the paperwork and left the lot. The deal is done, I'm sorry", my lawyer loved that one, shocker! So now, 1+ hours facetiming with the design and installer of the Lamborghini doors, shows permanent damage to door shocks, warping due to forced open and close over time, missing main bolt on driver side and modification outside of install voiding warranty. Resolution? Purchase new door kits $2,999.99, their install $1,800.00 for lifetime warranty, tax $200 = $5,000 more on top f the $76,500 car purchase in which I paid out of pocket $32,000 in cash down. Communications with the dealerships owner/manager ??? promises to "make it right". When the install is done in 4 weeks, submit a bill and we'll work something out. Maybe I'll get a car freshener? My expectations are for them to reimburse me the cost of the repairs and kit but lord knows with the reviews I am reading but I still hold hope that they will do the right things. I'll update this review soon on how it turned out but BUYER BE AWARE and USE CAUTION HERE. These photos and videos were less than 12 hrs apart and a 2.5 hrs drive from dealership to home garage only More
