I arrived late in the day last week to Smithtown Volkswagen’s service department without an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic way I was treated. I especially want to commend Evan who looked at my Passat, he seemed to hover over the mechanic area to ensure the dealership’s exceptional standards are upheld, also Danielle Di’Pietro whose empathy and caring attitude shines through as she ferrets out my concerns to write up what the mechanics should check to address what is needed to make my Passat perfect again. Evan (did not get his last name), but his friendly attitude and the professional way he did his job, first checking with Danielle and going over my concerns and then checking my car and updating me with the results. His friendly attitude and demeanor let me know he is happy at his job and that the owner and management must treat their employees well. I would be remiss if I did not mention Adam Shifrin from the sales department, who made purchasing my vehicle a pleasure, to really know how special Adam is, just realize that I purchased my Passat over the phone, sometimes less is more, and I will let you fill in the rest on how special Adam must be to sell a used vehicle over the phone to a total stranger. Honestly everyone I met were good will ambassadors for Smithtown Volkswagen, I was kept informed every step of the way, my experience buying my Passat, and now getting my Passat checked were both seamless from start to finish.
