Most Pleasant Buying Car Buying Experience I typically dread buying a new car due to sales tactics and feeling pressured to buy. This is the first car buying experience where I actually felt re I typically dread buying a new car due to sales tactics and feeling pressured to buy. This is the first car buying experience where I actually felt relaxed and at ease. During my car buying experience, Adam showed me all the features of the Jetta and features he learned about it during his training. He explained to me how all sales reps actually have to go to a training to learn and test drive the cars - and this was his favorite one by far. I was very specific on what I wanted (sort of felt bad with some of my specific demands of my "perfect car"), but Adam was more than respectful of my wishes and made sure I was able to drive out that very day with my new car, with the color and features that I wanted. Since I went in to buy this car by myself, a young single female in my 20's, I wasn't sure how negotiating would be. Adam went above and beyond to meet my financial requests, speaking with his supervisor to get me to a deal I felt comfortable with. He stayed after hours until I had the keys in my hand and was able to drive away. Adam also followed up with me and had me come back the following weekend to make sure my car got properly detailed (it was raining and almost closing-time when I bought my car). He spent time with me after the car cleaning to go over any follow up questions I had. I would absolutely return to Smithtown VW for the purchase of my next car. More
