Good and Bad I went in with two cars in mind, the salesman helped me narrow down what fits not only my budget but best for my lifestyle. Got a good (not great) dea I went in with two cars in mind, the salesman helped me narrow down what fits not only my budget but best for my lifestyle. Got a good (not great) deal on a 2019 Honda Insight. I liked the experience so much I went back to buy not only ONE but TWO cars! Unfortunately, the salesman I was working with on the INSIGHT was away and I had to speak with the sales manager "Ron". I gave both Ron and my salesman my bottom line number with a trade-in and they both agreed that if the trade-in was as good as I claimed we would have a deal. Well the trade-in was worth MORE than I told them and he was $1000 over what I had told him via email, so you would think that as we're discussing this care (the Civic sport) that he would be excited since I told him to start working on numbers for a PILOT as well.. Not only did he ignore getting me numbers for the truck, he failed on meeting me on the price that was discussed via email (which he read again at the dealership) he claimed that number was fine HOWEVER, he had to slap on the $895 destination fees and another $100 for some stupid tire removal fee? (who's removing tires from a new car? what the xxxx is that fee!?) BOTTOM LINE... this sales manager LOST 2 SALES IN ONE NIGHT, not to mention I just purchased a new Insight that Monday from them. How many customers buy 3 cars from a new dealership in one week? anyway... I went to another dealership and will be getting a GREAT deal for both a Civic EX and HR-V this week... you blew it Ron and Atlantic Honda. More
