Dalton Hampson was an amazing sales person. He was well prepared for our visit. He communicated weekly to see if we had we had questions before our visit. I would not buy another vehicle from Mcgrath again. I bought a new car about 3 weeks ago and drove it down South over Christmas and discovered that my air conditioner wasn’t working. I called mc I bought a new car about 3 weeks ago and drove it down South over Christmas and discovered that my air conditioner wasn’t working. I called mcgrath when I got back and I brought it in so they could fix it. The service guy was extremely nice and he told me he couldn’t fix it now because the air compressor wouldn’t kick in because it’s too cold. Then he said he was going to contact the sales department and inform them of the issue and they would look at it when it’s warm enough under the 90 day warranty. Well MELISSA VONG informed us that if they can’t fix it now then I would have to use my extended warranty because it would be after my in-house warranty. isn’t that robbing another company by forcing them to pay for it even though we are all aware of the problem caused by the dealer? That was a big fu— you to someone that spend $25,000 3,weeks ago at your business with the promise that everything works but it actually doesn’t. I’ve learned a lesson with Mcgrath. More

while the initial sales experience was great it all went down hill after that 2 weeks after i noticed on my paper work i was over charged for registration fees ands double charged for title fee. then come t down hill after that 2 weeks after i noticed on my paper work i was over charged for registration fees ands double charged for title fee. then come to find out they charged sales tax on a full purchase and not the lease that i did after a phone call with the business manager i was not updated for close to 2 weeks and could not get anyone on the phone business manager or sales manager and leaving messages resulted in no call backs so almost a month after the lease of my vehicle i had to drive 1.5hrs up to the dealer to get this settled after almost 2 hours i finally left with the $3400 they over charged me along with the $3500 they owed me in equity from my trade in... They withheld paying me an additional $291 they had over paid in taxes due to the paper work fiasco, and i was told when my plates came in i would be receiving a check for that as well plates came in 2 weeks ago along with a $50 check i have sent out 2 emails and called now again no response back in a weeks time frame this dealer claims to have great prices due to volume well that maybe true but do not expect any customer service after the sale and good luck getting ahold of anyone unless your local and can do it in person will not be doing business with them again i generally buy a new car about every year if not more and this is one of the worst dealers i have ever dealt with More

Last week I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for my two front doors locking mechanism to be serviced. The parts had to be ordered and I came in on Tuesday to have them replaced. I had an appointment at 8:30am and informed them that I was going to wait in the lobby for my car to be done. At 1pm I go and check on how my car was coming along. They for got I was waiting in the lobby. I was there for 5 hours with nothing being done to my car. Another hour goes by and they inform me that the parts were damaged. My car didn't get in for service until after 1pm to find out the parts where damaged. Then they where going to give me a loaner car for the night and it will be done the next day. Not a single person asked me what they could do to make up for them not doing a thing to my car for 6 hours. Since they never asked me I told them it be a good idea to detail my car for me. I came back the next afternoon to get my car and return the loaner. When I picked up my car I was asked to still give them a 5 star review. Then if I wasn't going to do that than it would be best not to fill out the review form. I cannot believe the set of xxxxx this guy had on him to ask me that. Another time I had to come to a dealer for my car was roughly a year or so ago. I had to have my transmission replaced. I had to come to a dealer because of the warranty. I was given a loaner car and informed that it would be a month before my car was done. I was fine with that and went on my way. A few weeks go by and they need the loaner back because it got sold. I was perfectly understanding of that because it was for sale. I came back to exchange the car for a different one. Another week goes by and I call to see how my car was doing. Not a single person knew a thing about my car. This happened on multiple occasions. Another week goes by and I need to bring the loaner back because I don't know. I told them that they needed to come and get it because I didn't have time to drive to Hiawatha from Monticello. Before I learned they needed this car back I had filled the car up with gas. When I was given a different car it was delivered on empty. I was fuming by this point and called to complain. They told me they would make it up to me. After almost 3 months of having my car I finally got it back. Not a single person made this right. You guys had my car for 3 months, 3 different loaner cars, people not knowing a thing about even having my car and I gave you guys a free tank of gas. If I never had to go to a dealer then I wouldn't. I came to you guys because your closer then Billion in Iowa City. Now I know better then to waist my time with you guys. And the audacity for your worker to ask me to give you a 5 star review and if I wasn't going to give you a 5 star that I shouldn't fill the form out at all. More
