I contacted Ferguson Superstore via internet about a pre-owned vehicle they had in stock. I received a prompt response for Christyn Gill in their internet department. I explained this would be an inte pre-owned vehicle they had in stock. I received a prompt response for Christyn Gill in their internet department. I explained this would be an internet purchase as I am in an adjoining state. She then passed me on to Alberto Espitia in their Buick sales store. I told Alberto up front I preferred email communication. I told him which vehicle I was interested in and provided all requested information on my current vehicle to obtain a trade in value. He assured me he would get this to me right away. Over the course of a week, he never provided me a trade in value. He did call and leave a message once and texted but never provided a trade in value. I called him three times during the week and he was never available. I left messages. It would take him two or three days to follow up with me but I was not available and he did not leave a voice message (hence my request for email communication). After a week I called and was told Alberto was not available. I asked to speak to one of the sales managers. Imagine my surprise when I was told they had all left for the day. It was 4:30 in the afternoon. I then emailed Shane Ogburn, Sales Manager and explained my frustration and asked he assign me a new salesperson. I also said I would forego a trade in and just wanted to purchase the 2018 BMW X5. I never heard back from Mr. Ogburn. I checked the Ferguson web site the next day and of course the vehicle I was interested in has sold. It is disappointing I was never offered the option of placing a deposit on the vehicle to hold it while details were worked out. It is even more disappointing neither Alberto or Mr. Ogburn can return calls in a timely manner or at all. I've purchased 7 vehicles via internet and know it is possible to do so in an efficient and timely manner. More
