Service department needs customer service improvement. I brought my car in that was having issues which was related to a Honda Tech Service Bulletin. I was really hopeful because I only had about 100 mile I brought my car in that was having issues which was related to a Honda Tech Service Bulletin. I was really hopeful because I only had about 100 miles left to the warranty but didn’t know that this was an issue since 2018. I went in and talked to a service advisor who pawned me off to a scheduler. I explained the situation, gave my vin upon request, and was told there’s nothing they could do because my vin is not specified under the bulletin. The bulletin specifies “ALL RANGES” in my year make model engine type. When asked how to resolve this, she mentioned having to speak with Honda of America. When asked for the contact info, she just sighed and said she’d have to Google it. Really?! I then demanded to speak to an advisor. The advisor I spoke to (3rd person now) just questioned my lack of getting service (which I do), what he tells his customers (which I’m not), and that the worst case is that I pay for service which he then said “it won’t break the bank.” I didn’t realize that he was a not only a Honda service advisor, but also a financial advisor. It’s not their place to comment or judge customers financial abilities. I’m a long time Honda customer, but it won’t be to this location. I’m glad their was another one in town who took care of me after leaving here and Honda footed the bill under warranty. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND TIME GO TO ANOTHER HONDA SHOP! More
