I was pleased with everything until I neared Kohl's on Balt Pike on the way home. Tire light came on the dashboard (first flashing, then a solid light) on 2009 Corolla. Thought one of my tires were low de Balt Pike on the way home. Tire light came on the dashboard (first flashing, then a solid light) on 2009 Corolla. Thought one of my tires were low despite on the service order tires were checked (and they were all fine for PSI when I brought it in). Did not have any lights on when I brought it in either. Returned physically to the shop & told all tire pressures OK, but it was the sensor (not told by a mechanic directly or Service rep). Tire light still lit now. Called Service the next day since I had a funeral to attend. Gave Service the description of problem & they confirmed what I was told previously. Indicated it would cost $290 for the 1st sensor with an additional $200 for each added one if needed. It would be hit & miss trying to find out which tire sensor it was? Not sure about this explanation since I was stunned? Just thought it was rather ironic that moments after leaving the shop & not even a mile from Conicelli, I had a problem when I didn't have that problem when I brought it in. In fact, I never recalled ever having that problem or with my other car - a 2012 Camry (all purchased here). Don't have almost $1,000 to fix the problem - in my late 70s. More
