No doubt the people here are friendly but I can't get past the fact that vehicles are priced well over MSRP. For example I was looking at a Seltos. I asked the dealer for the Trim for a 'Starbright Yello past the fact that vehicles are priced well over MSRP. For example I was looking at a Seltos. I asked the dealer for the Trim for a 'Starbright Yellow' Seltos and he looked at the label and told me it was the 'S' Trim. I then asked the price on it and he said $32,000.00. Now that's crazy, MSRP is $24,005 including the freight charge to get it to this Island. Keep in mind this is FWD so there's no way the over charge could include AWD which is only $1,500 extra anyways. But regardless it's only FWD and to put things more into perspective if I was to ADD every accessory and add-on possible to the vehicle it should only come up to $26,910.00. I don't have to take in to account taxes and fees because the sticker price is minus that so it's $32,000.00 not including the taxes and fees. So how is it jumping up from $26,910 to $32,000? That's $5,090 over MSRP. I understand dealers have to make money off a deal but $5,090 over? Really? Nah I rather take my business else where and to make matters worse the 'Nightfall' Trim was same price as the 'S' Trim $32,000? How does that make any sense? This dealership needs to get their numbers right, they may have others fooled who don't do their research but there is a select few who do, do their research and let me tell you word of mouth does effect a business.
