I wanted to let you know that my wife and I ultimately purchased our 2026 Honda Pilot Elite from Honda Superstore of Joliet. From the very beginning, I explained that I preferred to conduct the entire negotiation remotely by email. Dan D'Andrea and his team respected that preference. They were transparent, provided detailed written proposals, answered every question, negotiated in good faith, and honored every commitment they made. The entire process was straightforward, and we were extremely happy with the experience. I wanted to share one piece of constructive feedback. This is actually the second sale McGrath Honda has missed with me in the past four months for the same reason. In February 2026, I purchased my 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring from Honda Superstore of Joliet after McGrath declined to negotiate remotely and wanted me to come into the dealership before providing a complete proposal. The same thing happened with this Pilot purchase. While I understand every dealership has its own sales process, today's buyers often prefer to complete as much of the transaction as possible online before making a trip to the dealership. I was able to negotiate complete written proposals with multiple Honda dealerships, including Honda Superstore of Joliet and Motor Werks Honda, without having to visit in person. I hope you'll share this feedback with your sales management team. I believe McGrath is likely missing opportunities with customers who value transparency and the convenience of conducting business remotely. Had McGrath been willing to handle the transaction the same way, you would have had an excellent opportunity to earn my business.
