The staff was pleasant to deal with, I was looking at a used truck that was on the lot and was able to get a vehicle history report from them and also The staff was pleasant to deal with, I was looking at a used truck that was on the lot and was able to get a vehicle history report from them and also take it to my automotive shop of choice to have an independent inspection done (at my expense of course). The process was easy and quick once I made an offer on the vehicle. More

Untrustworthy repair shop, comission based advisors Have you ever been taken advantage of by a service shop ? Have you ever been told they have to replace more parts in your vehicle then what you reque Have you ever been taken advantage of by a service shop ? Have you ever been told they have to replace more parts in your vehicle then what you requested to repair initially because it “broke” while a technician was taking it apart ? Look no further but Dodge Chrysler of Anchorage on 5th Ave ! I’ve been a long time customer of this business and have maintained and purchased a few vehicles from them but this year it’s been a night mare . I have learned their service advisors now work off commission and are required to “upsell” the original repair customer comes with . For a reference my repair turned from $800 to $2000. On top of everything I have called to check on a status just today at 3:55 pm. The cashier Brittney answered the phone and asked if I could hold. After being on hold for 23 mintes, I called back and was advised by Dodge receptionist Service Department closed at 4pm. Therefore Brittney knew they were closing at 4pm when I called just a few minutes prior and chose to place me on hold and leave the office instead advising me they are closing soon or assisting me as a customer . Management has not returned my email or calls, when called to speak with a manager -they simply pass you on to someone else without taking accountability . I wish I could give 0 stars for this feedback . This used to be a trustworthy dealership and a place to maintain your vehicle . Shame on them . More
