Was working with this dealership for a few weeks trying to purchase a 2022 Camero, the way this dealership does business is very shady and dirty. This dealership does not care about wasting your time, they have no problem selling a car right from under you after weeks of working with them. We live down in Tucson and we’re willing to drive up there to sign a contract on a Camero they were not going to be receiving for another two days. John, (who was the manager working with us) put a contract together and said “come on down, let’s sign and the car will be yours as soon as it comes in” As soon as we were able we left to start the 2 hour + drive to their dealership and received a call that they had received the car in today, which was very unexpected to them! So not only would we be able to sign the contract but also take the car home in the same day to save another trip. Yay! or so we thought. About 25 minutes from us pulling into their parking lot we received another call from the manager saying they had someone at the dealership looking at the car and they had absolutely no “choice” according to his boss, but to sell it to this person because of their “policy’s”? Honestly couldn’t wait 20 minutes for us to pull into their parking lot after us already driving almost 2 hours. When we expressed that we were upset and after this being the SECOND time they have sold a car from under us, we didn’t feel the need to continue business with them after taking 4+ driving hours out of our day so we could purchase a car through them (not to mention putting all those extra miles in on our trade in car!) Zim another “head of something” person from there called us and said and i quote “we are not a museum, and we do not “hold” cars” I totally understand that they want to sell cars, and I get it would usually be a first come first serve, but after already putting together a contract, having us drive from Tucson JUST to sign the contract to “hold” the car and even pay extra money to do so, then unexpectedly receiving the car early which was not in anyway our fault and then us clearly stating we were 20 minutes from their parking lot after driving almost 2 hours, and they went ahead and still sold the car to someone else. I would absolutely never recommend anyone do business with this dealership when there are plenty of choices out there! Sands Chevy dealership not more than 20 minutes from this place, before even writing up a contract said they would have absolutely have no problem holding the car for us to make yet another trip up to phoenix tomorrow. Oh and guess what, the car is the same price! More
