Worse customer service after purchasing vehicle, does not care after selling the car, half xxx maintenance checks as well! I spoke with salesman Andres over the phone and explained I was leasing a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and the lease was up on nov 17. I further explained that the car would need to be taken to the Hyundai dealershi I was leasing a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and the lease was up on nov 17. I further explained that the car would need to be taken to the Hyundai dealership and dropped off there. As well, I told him I am disabled and live very far from their dealership. He assured me that it would be “worth my while” to drive down to Avalon as he had several preowned Hyundai sonatas wuth low mileage, which was what I was looking for. I had planned on driving down on a Wednesday. He then called me that morning as I was ten minutes away from my house to tell me that all of his stock had been moved downtown to the State Farm stadium for a tent event sale that was starting tomorrow and could I please drive there! I told him he could have given me more notice as it takes me a long time to leave my home because I move slowly due to my disability. The following day, I arrived at the tent sale first thing. I was immediately introduced to someone by the name of Riichard Bracamonte, who didn’t even identify who he was or what his title there was. I later learned that he was a “special finance director”. Prior to meeting Richard, I hit at least five different flyers in the mail I telling me to call “Richard” with his number and that I would be getting a 300.00 visa/mc gift card with the ourchase of a car. I also received other ones for Richard which said 25.00 restaurant.com gift card with appointment. After meeting with Richard, I handed him the flyer with the customer number on it and I asked him how I get my gift card should I buy a car from them. He said, “oh, we’ll take care of that when you pick up your car from the dealership.” The three of us then sat at this very loud noisy table and I was thinking about purchasing a 2917 Hyundai Sonata with 8,000 miles on it. The orice however was too high. After at least an hour of grueling sales pitching, I decided to call my son, who is an officer in the navy. He spoke with Richard for at least 25 minutes and when they finished, Richard had lowered the price of the vehicle. Was it really necessary for them to put me “thru the wringer” like that? No, it def wasn’t. The bottom line is that Richard Bracamonte is a sleazy liar. The next day I had to drive to Glendale to pick up my car. Richard was there and I again asked him where my 300.00 gift card was. He never answered me but walked away to take a telephone call. The service department was transferring my scooter ramp from my old car to my new car which I told would take 2-3 hours. I was there for 6 hours. Before it was done, Richard approached me and said he was leaving. I confirmed with him that someone was going to deliver the old car back to Hyundai next door. He said yes definitely. He briefly introduced me to an African American man, whose name I didn’t even catch and said so and so will be delivering your car to you and left! The way he delivered my car to me was ridiculous. He handed me the keys, said the old car is parked next to the new one so I could transfer my personal item and thanked me. I went to the back and saw the two cars. However, I could not find my personalized plates anywhere . In addition, the new Hyundai was very different from my old car and the controls were different. No one explained how anything worked!!! Richard had also told me that with regard to my personalized plates, that I would have to go down to DMV. myself instead of the dealership taking care of it. THE BOTTOM LINE: I wasn’t treated properly from start to finish. The car wasn’t delivered properly; I never received 300.00 gift card as promised by the flyers received in mail, and was in fact told by Richard when I called him yesterday, that he knows if no such promotions, said he called his promo company and they never heard of it, and I never gave him a flyer!!! They told me I had to go to DMV TO change the plates myself, and then got a notice from DMV that my old Hyundai car had been towed and was being stored in impound. I was lied to at every turn. Richard was obnoxious and rude on the phone and even said yo me, “well I took hundreds of dollars off the price of the car; would you rather me have sold you the car for 300 more and given you the gift card?” Before that, he denied knowing anything about the gift card. He also told me that no one was going to deliver my car back to Hyundai next door. They don’t do that. When I asked him why he and Andres told me “we will take care of it and make sure Hyundai gets it back “ he stated that was never said. This so called family of dealerships are a bunch of thieves! When something is in writing, you honor it. When you deliver a car, you don’t hand it off to a person who knows nothing about the car so you can leave to go home. Unacceptable!!!!
