Everyone besides this man are the greatest. I purchase my vehicle at Lester Glenn 3 weeks ago and my check engine light came on. With my string of bad luck with cars and car dealerships I insta I purchase my vehicle at Lester Glenn 3 weeks ago and my check engine light came on. With my string of bad luck with cars and car dealerships I instantly became worried and anxious that I was about to start having yet another bad car experience. I called and spoke to a very calm and kind girl named Leah, who was apologetic and offered solutions and to speak to a manager. At this point I was calm and agreed that this situation should be known by a manager as well. She transferred me over to this man, who immediately got on the phone and was playing defense. Roy answered the line saying “Hello who is this?” I told him my name and asked if he was aware of the situation and he responded with “yeah and we offered you a free inspection, what else?!” I told him I was anxious about the car already having a check engine light being that it only had 5,000 miles on it and that I felt like I wasn’t made aware of the true reason that the car was returned with so few miles on it. With that he responded “well you have a feeling” and began his wild babbling and wouldn’t let me say another word. I was frustrated trying to speak to him and asked him MULTIPLE times to stop back peddling the situation and that I just wanted to set up the service appointment. Instead he persisted on escalating the situation to the point I screamed at him that I didn’t want to speak with him any longer and I wanted to speak to another person, really anyone who wasn’t him, to schedule someone to look at my vehicle. He again, wouldn’t stop to the point my husband intervened and told the man he got involved due to the way he was treating me. He was stonewalling my husband as well, telling us he didn’t make the appointment and that Leah takes care of that, but he was refusing to let us speak to anybody else. Instead he hung up. We called back hoping to get Leah on the phone, instead, he answered. I texted my salesman Mike, he immediately called me back, I was shaking at this point and I am only concerned for my safety in the car. He was great, and told me to bring it in the morning and I was satisfied. However, not long after I was receiving a phone call from Lg Mazda, so I answered. It was Roy, and I told him I don’t need to speak with you. And he said threateningly, “I wanted to let you know you were on a recorded line before so anything you said is on there” as if I was going to get in trouble for getting frustrated by this man who was so aggressive the moment he got on the phone. I repeated to him “I don’t need to speak to you, I don’t want to talk to you, my problem is being handled by someone else.” He continued his aggressive babbling and I hung up the phone. The man literally called to harass me there was evidence that I yelled at him on the phone! Every time I attempted to deescalate all he did was gaslight my husband and I. My husband called him back and had a lengthy discussion with him. It was an absolutely frustrating and nerve wracking interaction when all I wanted to do was discuss my situation with someone so they were aware being that I’ve been through similar situations with pre owned vehicles in my past. More
