Upon arrival at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville on July 9th, 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the needs of my family. When I test drove the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban i noticed a few ants crawling around and brought it to Sonny’s attention. He reassured me they would look into it and take care of the problem. Prior to submitting my application for financing I requested the CarFax on the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. Sonny withheld the information until the actual application was submitted. When it was time for me to sign off on the acknowledgment of the CarFax Sonny literally clinched several pages to his chest that reported accidents. Once I noticed the CarFax was missing pages I cancelled the deal and left the dealership as I felt like there were some shady business practices. On July 10th, 2020 I spoke with the sales manager at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville and he sincerely apologized on behalf of Sonny’s behavior the previous day and reassured me that my new salesman, Joe Coury would take care of me. That afternoon I met with Joe, signed the finance documents and drove off in my new car. That weekend we discovered the Suburban was infested with ants. Ants crawled onto my children while in their car seats, on the dash, into our drinks that were in the cup holders, they were everywhere. That week i dropped the suburban off at Parks Chevrolet and they exterminated the vehicle. On July 17th 2020 i received a call from the finance manager stating that my job has not verified employment and if it’s not verified that afternoon by 5pm I need to return the vehicle to the dealership. Joe called me shortly afterwards and we discovered that Sonny falsified my employment information which caused the confusion on my eligibility to be financed with GMAC. After countless phone calls I was able to confirm my employment and finalize the deal with GMAC. On July 28th, 2020 I had a service appointment to check out my newly purchased Chevrolet Suburban because the transmission is slipping/jumping. Cat, the service director for my ticket informed me that my transmission fluid looked like it had metal in it and they needed to keep my car for at least a day or two. I had to beg for a loaner car because i needed to get back to work. I was told I could not get a loaner car although i witnessed a couple drive up in a black Chevy Tahoe that was a dealership loaner car and they drove off in their mini van that had been serviced. I was eventually given a car to drive back to work. I spoke with Cat several times within the 2 days my car was being test driven to diagnose the transmission issue. At 8am Cat informed me that my car was not in the bay so it was safe to assume my car was being test driven. I called back at 11am to get an update. Car still not in the bay. I called again at 3pm. Car still not back in the bay. At 5pm i called and Cat told me to pick my car up. Nothing is wrong with it. You mean to tell me the mechanic has to drive my car around for 9 hours just to say they did not find anything wrong with it? He came out and I told him how my car was diagnosed with metal in the transmission fluid the day prior and then 24 hours later the same metal could not be found and after the mechanic was able to drive around town for 9 hours he did not find anything wrong. I walked over to the dealership and spoke with Michael Davis and told him about my experience, now with the service department. He did not understand why the service manager told me that it was too late to replace my gas that was used. He explained that all he had to do was put gas in my vehicle, although the service manager told me it was impossible to do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I have yet to receive my permanent tag. My temp tag is expired. The general manager Andrew Robin is no help as well. He does not own up to any mistake his employees make. More
