I’m leaving this review as a lesson for future buyers, not to complain, but to help others negotiate smarter than I did. I had been working with Randy remotely and was very clear about my target price. I live about an hour away, so I didn’t want to make the trip unless there was real flexibility. I was told we couldn’t discuss price further until I came in, but that once I did, we could talk with the owner and potentially get closer to where I needed to be. When I arrived, neither Randy nor the owner I had been told about were there. Instead, I worked with another family member. I test drove the vehicle, pointed out a few imperfections, and tried to continue the price discussion — only to be told immediately that the number on the table was “best and final.” At that point, I asked to speak directly with the owner I had been negotiating toward meeting. I was told he wasn’t available and that the decision would come from someone else instead. That shifted the entire dynamic, because the authority I had been told would help move the deal wasn’t actually present. From a negotiation standpoint, here’s what I learned: • If price is your main concern, get confirmation that the decision-maker will actually be present before you travel. • Don’t assume flexibility will exist once you arrive — sometimes the in-person visit is simply meant to create pressure. • If the conditions change from what you were told remotely, pause and reassess before moving forward. I ultimately chose to complete the purchase because I liked the vehicle and was comfortable enough with the final outcome. But the experience reinforced an important lesson: stick to your process, not just your number. If you’re making a long trip for a vehicle, make sure the people with real authority to move the deal will actually be there when you arrive. More

My son wanted a Ram. We were skeptical about going to a dealership because we thought the monthly payments would be out of his price range. He was persistent about going to look anyway, so we went—doubtfully—thinking there was no way we could make his wish come true. Well, we were WRONG! It ended up being the best decision we made. We drove up to Spirit Dodge in Swedesboro and were immediately greeted with kindness and zero pressure. Then we met Wendy Fisher, and wow—she was amazing. She was bubbly, funny, and made the time fly by! We absolutely loved working with her. She made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Wendy talked to my son a lot and really listened to what he wanted. She made him feel heard and understood, which meant so much to us. She was incredibly personable yet still very professional. She even offered us pizza!! Usually, a day at a dealership is long, boring, and honestly dreadful—which is why we’ve always bought privately—but this was the best experience we’ve ever had! We laughed, we felt comfortable, and we were never pressured. No one followed us around or bombarded us with questions. Bill made the trade-in process unbelievably easy and convenient. He took into account everything my son had added to his Camaro and gave us the best offer possible. Both he and Wendy were patient while running numbers and worked hard to get the monthly payment within my son’s price range. Angelo was great too—so friendly, and he had an awesome car collection he told us about. He explained everything clearly and made the signing process quick and easy. Overall, the whole experience was comfortable, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with! We walked in doubtful, and we left with my son’s DREAM truck—and a dealership we will hands-down return to in the future. Thank you, Spirit Dodge, for making what felt impossible completely possible!
