Leased a new car with Honda of Freehold and turned my old car in early. They were supposed to pay the last couple months of my lease off, but they never sent the check into the leasing company. That was over car in early. They were supposed to pay the last couple months of my lease off, but they never sent the check into the leasing company. That was over a month earlier. My account showed late fees on the old lease, and I couldn’t add my new leased car to the account. I called and left multiple messages with my salesperson, Finance and the Customer Relations Manager, but nobody returned my calls. The leasing company said I was still liable and needed to pay the account within a week, or it would affect my credit. They finally got involved with contacting the dealership. After numerous additional calls from them, the dealership finally looked into the issue and resent the check. My old leased car was still sitting in their lot for more than a month and is supposed to be returned to the leasing company. This was a major hassle I had to deal with, when I should have just been enjoying my new leased car. More
