Buyer beware! I bought a car from CarLink in Morristown, NJ. It is an older vehicle but it looked to be in good shape. Mind you, I am a single woman that does not know too much about cars. When I bought NJ. It is an older vehicle but it looked to be in good shape. Mind you, I am a single woman that does not know too much about cars. When I bought it to my mechanic, he found that "from the catalytic converter to the back of the car, the exhaust was hacked", meaning there was no exhaust system on the car. A piece of flex pipe was installed in place of a resonator assembly and muffler, which in his opinion, can fall off at any given time. When I called to have CarLink fix it, I was asked if the check engine light was on. Then they proceeded to tell me that the car was perfectly fine and told me they'd have their mechanic look at it to make sure it was "functioning" properly, which in my opinion, would be a big waste of time. They already knew there was no muffler system on the car when they sold it to me. More

If I could actually give these people a -5 rating I would. Do yourself a favor and don’t step foot in their dealership. They sold me a lemon, refused to return it even when I called about the TRANSMISS would. Do yourself a favor and don’t step foot in their dealership. They refused to take the car back or fix it until I had to put a hold on the loan and pretty much force them. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE xxx CROOKS. I regret ever going there. I hope you don’t make the same mistake. Go to a reputable dealer. More

Total vehicle scam DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CARLINK!!!! I went to Carlink & paid $4000 for a Chevy Suburban the beginning of April 2018. Immediately upon driving the ve DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CARLINK!!!! I went to Carlink & paid $4000 for a Chevy Suburban the beginning of April 2018. Immediately upon driving the vehicle home I noticed mechanical problems. I went to my mechanic the very next day and find out that the vehicle had been rigged to hide the mechanical issues. I bring it back to Carlink. I pay another $533 in repairs when the owner Steve finally acknowleges that there were problems with the vehicle. When I get in the vehicle and started it up suddenly black billowing smoke comes out of the vehicle and they try telling me that it's not only safe to drive home by that it's just from it sitting. I asked the Service Manager to put that in writing he wouldn't. I leave the vehicle there. Since then I have called repeatedly, including sending emails to the owner Steve, who refuses to respond to me. I paid $4533 for vehicle that I could not inspect, could not register, and immediately had significant mechanical problems that they will not a address or make any repatriation on for 2 months now. Not only does Steve have $4,533 of mine he also has the vehicle that can't be inspected or registered given the mechanical problems. Steve stated that whatever problems there were when it was traded to him is not his problem and it's my problem to deal with. What Steve fails to understand is that as a business owner he is a 100% responsible for the vehicle that was traded to him with major mechanical issues and he is a 100% responsible for not fixing that problem with the consumer. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM CARLINK. Their operating under unfair and unsafe business practices with direct intent to commit consumer fraud. Steve was given the option to either return my money or to find me a suitable replacement vehicle of the same value with no mechanical issues that would pass an immediate inspection and his answer has been complete refusal and avoidance of the issue.
