recently drove 2. 5hrs to Sacramento because I was approved with my bank for a car that was listed for $25k on their website. Upon arriving and test driving the vehicle 5hrs to Sacramento because I was approved with my bank for a car that was listed for $25k on their website. Upon arriving and test driving the vehicle, I was told by Emal (salesmen) that I had to purchase two warranties totaling $7,400. I asked why it wasn’t included in the website and he said “Well, we usually like to let the customer know upon arriving”. xx! After getting back to the dealership, I let him know several times that I didn’t want the warranties but Emal and the sales manager, Austin, both told me that I couldn’t finance the car unless those were paid for. I again let them know that I would pay for the GAP warranty, but not the $1,400 interior warranty or the $5,999 comprehensive warranty. Austin agreed and I was off to the finance office where I met Jay. Jay was going over all of the numbers and the monthly payment was $200 over the original monthly price my bank approved me of and he said it was because “I didn’t want GAP” I let him know that I did in fact want GAP, but didn’t need the other two. He explained again that I had to have that in order to finance the car. I finally agreed and then Jay starts letting me know that he can get my rate lowered. I let him know that I didn’t want my credit ran anymore and I was already annoyed with the way things were being handled. He insisted that he knew a bank that would approve me. I let him know he could try ONE bank and nothing more. Fast forward, I paid for the warranties and he got me approved for a better rate. When receiving the key, I asked if there were two keys and Emal said yes and ran to the back to bring the second key. After getting home, I realized both key fobs didn’t work properly, and I called the warranty company that they forced me to purchase and let them know the situation and they advised me to call the dealership because they only fix/replace keys if I’m at fault. Given that I didn’t even have the car for 24hrs, the dealership was responsible for replacing the keys. I then called MB on 8/8 to let them know and it turned into them accusing me of lying because their service team checked both keys and they worked fine…supposedly. Austin then told me to go to Nissan and have them fix the keys and they would do it for free. I then went to Nissan and they checked both key fobs, the first one needed to be reprogrammed and the second one didn’t even go to my car (I thought the service team checked them?), so it would cost about $600 for both because my car wasn’t under warranty with them. In between that time, the sales manager had Emal call me back and tell me to call my warranty company and lie, saying I lost the key. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable doing that because it wasn’t the truth. I began calling back to let Austin know the cost of the two keys and he got extremely upset and told me he would send a check for $300 and only replace one key since the second key “didn’t go to the car anyway”. After all of this, I began reading the contract in detail and on both warranty pages in bold letters, it stated that I was not obligated to purchase the warranties in order to finance the vehicle. I have been calling, emailing, leaving messages almost everyday since to see where the check is for my key and to cancel the warranties. No one is getting back to me. I’m receiving multiple letters from lenders after I told Jay he could only try one bank. They are extremely unprofessional and I do not advise anyone to purchase a car from them. READ THEIR REVIEWS FIRST, they’re all horrible More

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento. I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 from Mercedes-Benz of Sacrame Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento. I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 from Mercedes-Benz of Sacramento. I trusted this dealership because it represents a luxury brand, but the vehicle I received was missing several important items that should have been included. The car was delivered without the six rear seat pillows/headrest cushions, the rear trunk privacy screen (cargo cover), the cargo net, the rear license plate bracket/holder, and other accessories. These missing items should have been identified and replaced before the vehicle was offered for sale. The problems did not stop there. Shortly after taking delivery, I learned that the 12-volt battery had failed because the vehicle had reportedly been sitting unused for approximately two years. Instead of standing behind the vehicle they sold me, I was asked to pay out of pocket to replace the battery. I also experienced delays with registration and temporary tags, requiring me to spend additional money and time to keep the vehicle legally on the road. More
