I have had previously good experiences with the service department at Serra Toyota. The buying process of our new Sienna van went well until the date of purchase. Even though we were paying cash with tra department at Serra Toyota. The buying process of our new Sienna van went well until the date of purchase. Even though we were paying cash with trade-in, it took over two hours to complete the process of buying the new vehicle. We waited a full hour for the one person who was authorized to take our payment. We were ill advised by our sales person that we could use credit cards for the full purchase of the vehicle. When we finally got in to the office to make the payment, we were informed that there was a limit of $4000 on a credit card. This was extremely upsetting and frustrating after awaiting a full hour to make the payment. We were also told that apparently there is only one person authorized to take a credit card payment, and that person had gone home for the day. Thankfully, we were allowed to continue with the purchase of the vehicle with the promise of making the credit card payments the following day. It all worked out, but the process was so frustrating that it took all joy out of buying our new vehicle. We consider this experience, extremely poor customer service and would hesitate to buy another vehicle at Senna Toyota. I would highly suggest hiring more than one person to take payments for buying vehicles. I noticed other couples waiting to make payments also. This is a very poor business practice, causing much frustration to the customer. More
