I had been looking for the right deal on a used truck for about a month when I walked into Koons Tysons. Previously, I had been to several dealerships whose 'games' and tactics were enough to walk away from about a month when I walked into Koons Tysons. Previously, I had been to several dealerships whose 'games' and tactics were enough to walk away from negotiations. I appreciated Bakary and (sales manager) Ryan taking the time to talk about the Koon's pricing, the Market research, and allowing me and my family the time to evaluate if this truck was right for us. Overall, the purchasing and financing process was very quick and pressure-free. The only negative I have to offer is that after I shook hands on the deal with these two, the General Sales Manager came over and plainly told me that the price I agreed on with the other two was not going to happen (a nominal amount of about $100 off). He added that he didn't need my business to make a profit on the truck, he could make more at auction. I thought it was unprofessional that he took away the other two's authority/autonomy in front of a customer. If it hadn't been for Bakary and Ryan's professionalism throughout the course of the visit, I would have left. Ultimately, I made up the difference and got a great truck. More

Barkary Darbo is the worst salesman I've dealt with. my wife and I decided to go to the dealership appx January 2020 to see if we like the new 2020 chevy traverse. upon arriving my wife and I walked across the dealer as we parked on the road with our car. As we were walking, Barkary jumped out of a car and approached us about what we were there for. It was getting dark and it was quite alarming considering this man was parking a car and didn't shut off the engine and ran towards us like a pit bull. we explained what we were looking for in a car and what we wanted. We also explained we had a trade and had negative equity in the car and what our goals were for that car. we told him that we weren't gonna put any negative equity into the new car. Before I could tell this man that I had a substantial down payment to put towards whatever the trade was gonna give me. Barary decided to tell me that my car wasn't worth much and im gonna have negative equity in my new car. I felt that this man was putting me and my wife down and thought we weren't serious buyers and basically going through the motions of getting me out the door from that point on. Barkary fuss and argue with me the whole time we were at the dealership ultimately we left that day. and through emails to the internet manager, we stated we loved the dealership however we didn't want barkary as our salesman. we came back another day and finished the process with barkary ( i assume that someone talked to him) we didn't trade our car into KOONS we ended up selling our car to carmax a week or so later which was another process I didn't wanna go through but I'm glad that I did. CarMax gave me more for my trade I love Koons as a car dealership. I purchased my 2019 dodge charger there and my wife will purchase her 2020 chevy traverse here as well. we plan on buying in the future from KOONS however if that's gonna be the treatment next time. Awful - one star rating is too high I purchased a used BMW from this dealership. I was promised and given a pink "WE OWE" you document for a 2nd key. A month later they said it was "ma I purchased a used BMW from this dealership. I was promised and given a pink "WE OWE" you document for a 2nd key. A month later they said it was "mailed out". They claim that it was lost by the USPS. KOONS did not have a tracking number since it was not shipped by FedEX , UPS, or certified mail so I would have to sign for it. Now I have to pay out of pocket for a 2nd key that I was promised. I've had the car for less than 30 days and driven it for roughly 500 miles and had AC issues. I took it to a real legitimate dealership for repairs it will cost $1,400++ for parts and labor. I reached out to KOONS management which didn't reply right away. They dragged their feet hoping the problem would go away. When they did reply, they would NOT honor their 30 Day Used car warranty. They will argue and put blame on others just to get out of being held liable for any damages. I'm not sure why they even have paper work such as warranties and '"we owe" you documents since KOONS does NOT honor any of these. I warn any potential customers to stay away. They are NOT a customer first focused dealership. I will never do business with this group ever again and I will pass the word, to anyone looking for a vehicle. DON'T BUY KOONS! More
