We were thinking about buying a new car, but were in no rush to make a purchase. We were disappointed in the customer service at every dealership we visited prior to our stop at Suntrup Volkswagen. Not one salesperson greeted us and asked if we would like some help. Since we were batting 0.000 at the other dealerships, we thought we might as well take a look at Suntrup Volkswagen. We had never considered buying a Volkswagen vehicle, but decided we would see what they had to offer. When we arrived, Joe greeted us outside. That was the beginning of the best car buying experience we have ever had! Joe, Beau and Arman were very friendly and accommodating. Our entire experience was exceptional. Joe answered all of our questions as we viewed each of the Volkswagen products and took us for a test drive. We talked to Beau about financing and to Arman about maintenance. We didn't purchase a car that day, but returned a few days later and purchased a 2014 Passat. These young men displayed true customer service, professionalism, and excellent knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles. Since the time of our purchase, Joe has always responded to my questions in a timely manner. We think of Joe, Beau and Arman as our friends. We plan to return to Suntrup Volkswagen for future purchases and will continue to refer our friends to Joe. More

I walked in knowing what i wanted and they could not have been more accomodating. There was no pushy selling or dealer games. it was a welcoming and friendly experience at every point and i learned a tremendous amount about the peopel i was working with but also VW in general. the three gentlemen i got to meet that day single handedly changed how i feel about the car buying experience. i will be a Suntrup customer for life now thanks to Joe, Sean, and Beau. My experience with Suntrup was excellent. I walked out with a new car in less than 2 hours, and Sean and Beau were very professional and accommodating. Both stayed past close to finish the deal, and Beau with a new car in less than 2 hours, and Sean and Beau were very professional and accommodating. Both stayed past close to finish the deal, and Beau even stayed late on his own birthday! Sean drove out to Ballwin to deliver my car to make delivery easier for me, even though it was probably inconvenient for him! I would highly recommend Suntrup and working with of these gentlemen! More

For the first time in my experience, I truly feel like we got a good and fair deal on our car purchase. We had previously been to another VW dealership in the kirkwood area a few days before we went to Sunt got a good and fair deal on our car purchase. We had previously been to another VW dealership in the kirkwood area a few days before we went to Suntrup and met with Adam. The previous experience was not pleasant and, as it turns out, had we stayed with that dealership we would have paid about 5000 more for the same vehicle! Adam and the others in the sales and financing departments were honest, pleasant to deal with and extremely professional. I could not be happier with our car purchase! More

I purchased a Multi-Shield complete care protection plan that required me to get all work approved prior to work being completed. Dealt with Multi-Shield and got a huge run-around on price they were going that required me to get all work approved prior to work being completed. Dealt with Multi-Shield and got a huge run-around on price they were going to cover on the dent repair. Finally called Suntrup and Beau said just bring it in and VW will take care of it. I was sceptical, but when I was called to pickup my car they said just give us back the loaner and take yours. Just had to sign the paperwork. One of the best encounters I have had at a dealership, no run-around. Thanks VW and Suntrup, that is why I am a repeat customer. More

Went in just to look around and possibly test drive a Jetta. Adam Goldfeder was my sales rep. He was very knowledgeable. Helped me make an educated decision and he worked with Beau Schwartz, the Finance Jetta. Adam Goldfeder was my sales rep. He was very knowledgeable. Helped me make an educated decision and he worked with Beau Schwartz, the Finance Manager, to get me financing I could afford. Never thought it would be possible to own a brand new car and not go bankrupt. I would definitely recommend Adam to anyone looking for a new vehicle. He was very helpful with everything. More

Unethical Business Practices-- Stay Away! My husband Unethical Business Practices-- Stay Away! My husband visited the dealership on a Monday and worked with Joe. Despite being new, the car we were int Unethical Business Practices-- Stay Away! My husband visited the dealership on a Monday and worked with Joe. Despite being new, the car we were interested in seemed to have a maintenance issue and Joe put it in the shop for service. On Tuesday and Wednesday, and over the course of multiple conversations with Joe, we continued to wait for word about the service issue and whether the problem had been repaired, while working out a price contingent upon the repair. On Tuesday, we agreed on a specific price (which was the price that I had been offered by another dealership for the same car) but were still waiting for an update on the repair. On Wednesday morning, Joe confirmed that he had discussed the price with the manager and that they could meet that price. He left the phone to check on the repair and promised he'd call back in just a few minutes. That was the last we heard from him. On Thursday morning, nearly 24 hours since I'd last spoken with Joe and agreed on the price, I called the dealership and asked to speak with manager. The manager, Beau, informed me that they had taken a deposit on the car from someone from out of town and regardless, they never could have sold it for the price that Joe had agreed to. Not only was this contrary to Joe's firm statement that they would sell for the agreed price and that the manager had approved that price, but it was also contrary to the dealership's policy that they will "meet or beat" the price offered by another dealership. I have not received an apology or any follow up at all from Joe or anyone else at Suntrup. Before you waste your time with Suntrup, take a look around at some of the other reviews on the web, particularly Yelp. They paint quite a different picture than the reviews here. More

I've been a loyal Suntrup customer for years, and I'm no easy sale. Although it looks small and could use some architectural upgrade, the sales and service is wonderful. Adela will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable and sure of the sale. That's why I drive two hours each way for service and for my last purchase. And don't forget the sales manager, Beau Schwartz who will work with you and for you, honestly. More
