Ben was always available, however very condescending by giving us the same word-for-word compliments day in and day out. He also neglected to directly answer questions and instead, skirted around vague ans giving us the same word-for-word compliments day in and day out. His judgement on my choices on color/interior and what is ‘best for me’ weren’t asked for and not appreciated. Why did he care what kind of car I wanted and why? I was irritated the more time spent with him. He also didn’t know the specifics of the car he was selling and had several delays due to back and forth. More

We had a positive experience buying a new Crosstrek from Ben at Randy Marion. Ben was more knowledgeable about the car than most salesmen I come across and was very personable. My only criticism of Randy Marion is the insistence on adding junk fees to the price - the whole protection package where they spray some mystery chemical on the car and want $1000 for it is pretty off-putting, as is the (admittedly mild) pitch for extended warranties. I feel like we got a fair price after some haggling but I am sure the dealership did ok too. The Finance associate was helpful when we ran into a weird snag on our loan approval and apparently came in on his day off to get it figured out. Overall we were very satisfied and would buy from them again. More

Payment for salaries of non-revenue-producing employees (company policy) was a junk fee that made us feel taken advantage of. --- Locking and unlocking of vehicle was not set properly at time of purchase, leaving me vulnerable on a long trip — never knowing if the car was locked or not, and it sometimes was not. A shorter warranty on a new car, than a used one, did not seem right to us. More
