John Knaggs forwarded your email to me, because I am familiar with your daughters concerns on her 2013 Malibu. Kim has been in once (for this concern) (to our dealership) with concerns on a noise coming from the right front suspension area and the steering grabbing / locking up for a brief second on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Our first avenue of diagnosis is for our technicians to verify your daughters concerns. Our technician road tested your daughters car for approximately 16 miles and were unable to verify her concerns. If the technician doesn’t verify the concern, they do a search for GM bulletins that pertain to this concern. Unfortunately nothing came up. The service consultant asked me if I would road test with your daughter so she could show me what was going on. We road tested for approximately 20 minutes with no verification. I received a call from GM customer assistance (Ray) on Monday, October 28, 2013. I explained to Ray the above paragraph. I received another call from Ray on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. We both decided to have T.A.C (technical assistance center) get involved with this case. I received another call from Ray and he explained to me that he was going to forward this case to Crossroads Chevrolet as they were the nearest dealer. I do remember your daughter telling me that her vehicle has been at Crossroads twice with the same results. I have not heard back from Ray and assumed that Crossroads is going to handle the T.A.C case. Please understand, Berger Chevrolet wants to do everything to address and correct your daughter's concerns as we value the trust you have placed in us once you purchased your vehicles.
