Extremely Disappointing and Stressful Experience I had a terrible experience with Montrose Kia in Sheffield, Ohio. I agreed with the salesperson on a total Out the Door price of $34,000 for a vehicle. a terrible experience with Montrose Kia in Sheffield, Ohio. I agreed with the salesperson on a total Out the Door price of $34,000 for a vehicle. However, while completing the title and documentation, the finance department suddenly asked me to pay an additional $1,000. Because this was not what we agreed on, I cancelled the deal immediately. No contract was completed and no vehicle was delivered. Despite the cancellation, the dealership deposited my $34,000 check anyway. What followed was one of the most stressful customer experiences I’ve ever had. It took nearly one month to get my money back. During that time, I had to call the dealership hundreds of times, repeatedly asking for updates. The manager refused to take responsibility, showed no urgency, and at times acted like this was not their problem. Communication was poor, unprofessional, and dismissive. Because my money was held for so long, I experienced serious financial stress and had to escalate the matter, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, just to get basic action. This dealership showed no accountability, no transparency, and no respect for a customer’s time or money. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with Montrose Kia, especially when it comes to pricing and handling customer funds. I even emailed the Montrose corporate office including the CEO and all VPS, but they did not care et all. More
