The sales person I worked with was great. He worked with me to get the car I wanted shipped quickly to Montana. Their finance department was another story entirely. The car was Certified Pre Owned but they told me the included pre-owned warranty expired a year before it actually did. I pushed on this and this gentleman said "he was certain he was correct" and pushed VERY hard to purchase the extended warranty (like they always do). When I received the car, however, the sticker still in the window, it revealed that I'd been flat out lied to and that I did, indeed, have another year of included coverage. When I approached him about refunding the extended warranty, it took an act of congress. He was rude, unhelpful and haughty. He also only refunded a portion of the prepayment (no doubt to keep his commission on that product). I didn't have the time or energy to get him to refund the additional $1K that I paid to have an extended warranty for a month, so I guess that's the price I paid for not doing my own research. There are other reviews of this specific person. Heed them. Also: do your own research on the timeline for which the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty is valid. You can do this directly through Volvo with the VIN. More
