I am newly married, sharing a home with my husband, Alex, our adopted dog, Sally and our cat, Jasmine; I have been a Ridgefield, CT. resident for the majority of my life. I was a nanny for 16 years before starting in the car business and pride myself at being different than your "typical Salesperson". I have been a loyal Mazda customer for a number of years and have purchased all of my Mazda's from Colonial. I've been telling all of my friends and family to buy from Colonial, so I couldn't think of a better place to start a new career! I've trusted and believed in the brand but most of all, I've trusted the dealership myself. I'm honest with a sense of humor and I want the best for my customers. A Sale in Seconds! I was coming off leasing a Subaru and needed an AWD that was also aesthetically pleasing packed with safety features. At the price point I wanted, I wasn’t sure what was out there. After seeing a few of the CX-5’s on the road I had to give them a look. I walked into Colonial Mazda and was greeted by Brette, who really made this car buying experience beyond enjoyable. She listened to what I wanted, and immediately was able to peg some options. She showed me the CX-3, and after test driving it I felt unsure. Never intending on upgrading to an SUV, she walked me through the features and availablity of the CX-5’s. After coming in with a great price (awesome deal within my price range), nothing more was needed. Every question I had, was answered in full details. Full efficienct walkthroughs of everything with the car, lease, terms, features, etc. I saw the car Monday, signed Tuesday, and picked up Friday. Thank you Brette for getting me into this Mazda I’m in love with my net CX-5 and surprised I didn’t make a switch sooner! More

No Other Dealership Compares...Seriously I have to start out by saying I honestly never leave reviews on things, but I absolutely had to after my experience with Colonial Mazda. So many great I have to start out by saying I honestly never leave reviews on things, but I absolutely had to after my experience with Colonial Mazda. So many great things about this dealership and the people who work here. In the Fall of 2018 I needed to begin the dreadful car-shopping/buying process and went to various dealerships to check out different models/pricing, etc...and it was all overwhelming. I decided to check out Colonial Mazda and met Brette Boockvor, one of the fantastic sales employees who made me feel like I was one of her long-time friends from the moment I met her. I really felt she had my very best interests at heart. She was able to match my monthly payments to what I was able to afford in a Mazda CX-5 in Oct. 2018. Come the end of January, my new car was stolen out of my driveway and a few days later totaled by those who stole it (apparently part of some gang-initiation in Waterbury). I felt lost, and while my insurance covered the price of the automobile, I had no downpayment for another car. I spoke to Brette, and she was SO sympathetic and told me she would do what she can to work out the numbers to get another car for me. She also excitedly told me I would be receiving $2500 from the vin etching insurance policy both Brette and Jay Barnard encouraged me to get when I signed the lease. I was totally shocked, speechless, and incredibly grateful. Sure enough, I am in a 2019 Mazda CX-5 with practically the same monthly payments as the 2018. Brette even offered to stay later than her scheduled shift on the only day I could be at the dealership (and did!!) just so I could get the new car sooner than later and not continue paying for a rental. I am so beyond grateful for the support of this dealership, Brette, and Jay for working everything out on my behalf and treating me like I was a part of their family. Its safe to say I will never choose another dealership again!! Kelly More
