Got charged $132 labor to change a diesel fuel filter and $81.50 for the filter for a total of $213.50. I asked how it became so expensive, service rep say the book says to charge one hour labor. Within that 90 minutes the following other items were completed Oil and oil filter changed Tire rotation Relearned tire pressures sensors Super cruise service update, which warranty claim code was listed. Diesel fuel filter replaced. In the past, an oil changed took a hour. This time, all these items were completed and still a labor charge to change the fuel filter. Talking to other 3.0 Duramax owners, their dealership have not soaked them for a hour labor charge for this. I called service manager and was told that is the way it is. Informed them they lost a customer. More
